Pnp and then followed over an hour in the carafe. It was immediately accessible. A generous glowing core of stone fruit, mildest whiff of reduction but much less so than many PYCM's, quite solar but not "hot", but showing warm vintage handled well. Elegant, refined, and long on the finish.

PYCM's 2009 Chevalier-Montrachet has a youthful bright greenish-yellow hue but shows quite forward with a big smack of oak dominating a nose of lemon and anise. Mineral and herbal tones on the palate. Fine enough but not a balanced wine.

Decanted just before first glasses were served. Pale yellow green colour - looks like it has years left. Strong lime fruits on the nose combined with vanilla and fennel and minerality as the wine opened up. beautifully balanced citrus fruit, herbs and fennel, acid and salt in the mouth. Long, long aftertaste. Completely delicious!

More round than the other two in the flight, nice minerality on the looooong finish. Served blind.
The thirsty heathens wanted a second bottle at the end of the tasting. It was consistent with the first.
