  • At Cabotte with FC and AW. Developed nose - old fashioned - iron, soil, vestiges of underlying dried red fruits,. The odd whiff of wet dog. Medium bodied, fine boned, some firm tannin remains, good length grippy finish. OK.

  • This is Lazzairasco, a monople sub-vineyard of Lazzarito in Serralunga. On day 1, this wine was very bright and happy, with cherry candy sort of flavors and a nice long finish. I also detected plums, licorice, violets, and new leather. On day 2, it wasn’t as bright and the finish wasn’t as long, but I did get some nice old leather and herbal notes with darker morello cherries and a little more complexity. Good on both days. A tad simple, but polished and really delightful. I loved the long finish. For this price I paid, it’s amazing.

  • 第一天,醒酒4小时,不够。六小时的时候好很多。这个酒,完全没有水果,甜味,加上balsamic 醋味,in a better way。

  • 100% agree with the comment from 'danchaq' below. Strange sensation being light in body but still mouth drying tannins. This somehow reminds a lot of 2010 Domaine des Varoilles Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Champonnets I tried not too long ago, maybe the licorice side of this wine

  • Bottle 5/6 and best so far. Tawny in the glass with translucent rim. Ripe red confected fruits jump from the glass - like Red Vines. Light to medium body, medium acidity, red licorice again, and cooling menthol with something deep like rosewood behind it all. Mouth-drying tannins very much present on the finish. Such a strange sensation against the lightness of the body. Now finally really open but still time left to drink my final bottle? Certainly worth the wait to find out.
