Popped and poured from a 375 mL bottle. Brick red/purple, with a touch of raisin on the nose. Surprisingly fresh on the palate, with good fruit; primarily Red berries. I could be crazy, but I think I detect a bit of a lingering tannic pucker. Perhaps that has helped preserve this bottle so well.
I must admit, I didn’t have high hopes for this bottle since it’s nearly 12 years old and an example of the wineriy’s entry level Pinot Noir. That said, I’m really enjoying this one. Well done.

A bunch of Sineann with friends (Our home): Very good showing. Seems to still be on the young side of maturity. These tend to be big in their youth, but this has started to show some femininity Cherries and slightly earthy on the nose. On the palate, there is a nice round balance here. Some layers of cherries, sour cherries and earth. Nice finish. At $30, this was a good value.

Cherry, cranberry, tea, and bramble on the nose. Red stone fruit, spice, and forest floor notes on the palate. Nice mouthfeel. Needs air to open up.

medium red and cherry soft aromas. Soft and closed at first but opens and broadens. This wine needs to air to open up.
