A light-bodied and rather tasty Pinot noir, developing some of the aromas and flavors one seeks at peak, but probably not quite there yet. The wine is medium ruby in color, with a nose of pomegranates and carrot cake, wet stone, allspice. Sweet but with tangy acidity and a polished, soft texture. Long finish supported by that same impression of granite...

Ripe red and dark fruits with hints of earth and sous bois, great balance, smooth texture and a medium body. Harmonious and seamless, good depth, no sharp edges and nice structure. While not a special wine, it was very enjoyable and a great example of an Oregon pinot.

With Sautéed Chicken….
Very earthy and integrated.
Nothing stands out.
Some plums.
But I liked it

Super at this stage, smooth and with lovely aromatics! Holding well but unlikely to improve further. Drink within five years.
