Ruby colour, plum, cherry, earth in nose and mouth. medium bodied, acidity dominates palate, simple but very racy and smooth, not like typical Marlborough Pinot Noir, which hardly avoids a little tart.
It's from cancelled export order (to US/Canada), a bit different taste from their NZ local market brand 'Peter Yealands'. Old Peter defined an imitated Burgundy style with nice quality and entry-level price (NZ$20), maybe popular in US. that's why it got WA 89 but Bob Campbell 83 only.

Like the balance, nice fruit, a little bit too much green, pretty long finish, amazing value!
