Park90 / Grand Cru SQN Masterclass: 87.5% Grenache, 11% Syrah, 1.5% Viognier; 15.7% alcohol. First impression was this was so flat - anexample of a high-alcohol, extracted wine that had completely fallen apart with age. Pruney, cherry vodka flavours; tannins were all over the place.
Tasted at the Sine Qua Non Q.E.D. The Masterclass Experience, part of the Fruits of the Vine 2024 at The Singapore Edition organised by Grand Cru.
Bright purple- red in colour with a bit of disjointment among the elements here. Fresh berries with some blueberries and greeness. Finish has lots of savoury and dried cured meat notes.

decanted 1 hour after opening and served after 2 hours in the decanter. This was more open and a little more flamboyant compared to Pictures, with sweet and ripe fruit of course, almost like blueberry jam.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D’s): Blind. Dusty crimson red color. Aromas of raspberry, dried herbs, sandalwood, sage and rosemary. Full-bodied with medium tannins and flavors of mixed red and black fruit and peppery spice. Midway through I began to wonder if this was the grenache. 92-93 pts.
Good, but not showing as much complexity as the syrah, but then again this was treated a bit differently. The cork was pulled 5.5 hours before the flight was served and it had been decanted for 2 of those hours. About 3 hours later with dinner this was much more open; definitely give this plenty of air at this stage.
