From a half. Very impressive again with great combination of concentration and transparency. Prickly red fruits dominate the palate. There is still pretty big structure in place which suggest this has a long way to maturity, but as with my last bottle it is quite enjoyable tonight nonetheless.

Dark purple color. Raspberry and mint on the nose. Impressively concentrated palate, yet not extracted or overoaked. Ripe black cherry, blackberry with pronounced black olive and iron on the finish. Very long on the finish with a lot of refined tannins present. This is impressive and enjoyable today with upside down the road.

Burgundy 2002 Horisontal Tasting (@ Terkel): Nose: Mint and intense red currants. Iron and dried herbs. Palate: Light dark plum style and very tannic and slightly bitter. Disappointing and unstructured. Rustic.

Not as good as my last bottles, this one had a ton of sediment which gave the wine a very burly profile. Lacked the finesse of my previous bottles.
