  • Wow. Wish they still made cab like this.

  • Nicely mature and complex in the nez, this smelled of iron rich earth, cedar top notes with raspberry undertones. Just a bit sour (high acid), this tasted of sour cherry, saddle leather and sous bois with surprising but caressing tannin. Very good, hard to imagine global warmed Aussies producing wine with level of restraint. 12.5% labeled alcohol. A throwback, drink at any time. This rested several months from a Garagiste shipment. Very fun.

  • This bottle took 15-20 minutes to start showing itself. It tasted of soft red fruits earth and lots of iron. You can really taste the Terra Rossa in this bottle. Its definitely old cab. It has some subtlety in the fruit but its growing faint. I had the same bottling over a year ago also from Garagiste. It was completely dead. This bottle came to life still, I'd drink em if you got em.
