Deep red in colour the nose has plum and oak aromas with a slight barnyard influence that occurs in the best wines the barossa has to offer. The palate is dominated by dark fruits of plum and savoury blueberry, the tannins are fine adding complexity and substance to the mid palate, the back palate has spice and pepper with the wine finishing with excellent length. A wonderful wine from a sublime vintage. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink by 2026)
