I disagree with the previous reviewer that said drink up in 2005. We just had this last weekend (over 6 years later) and it was at it's prime. No notes of green, instead a dark berry and rich chocolate flavor. I really enjoyed it and we are primarily burgundy drinkers. Got a great deal on this and it was well worth it. We would definitely buy again.

Tasted at an "Older California Cabernets" class at Chicago Wine School. Release price $50. Like the '97 we tried next to this, it is very dark and young-looking. Less tannic, richer and broader in the mouth than the '97, this wine was loaded with green: green peppercorns, green bell peppers, mint. Drink up.
