I brought this wine and it was on!! The nose light up the table and the bottle went quickly. Huge nose that screams both Rochioli and Pommard clone. Very long lenght and plenty of secondaries with nice clean earth in the back.

Leaving NYC and moving to San Francisco; 7/16/2005-7/17/2005: Dazzling non filtered color of aged red wine. The nose has plenty of fruit with red rose peddles, strawberry and rubard. The palate cuts with some great acidity and a strong backup of clean fruit. Extremtly light as a feather with the most terroir I have ever tasted in a California Pinot. The only other wine I have ever tasted outside of Burgundy with this terroir style was a 1979 Ponzi Pinot from Oregan. Delicious juice.

In the glass, clear at the edges with a hazy siena core. Definite Pinot Noir aromas, but tending toward a more Burgundian style, with lots of dirt. Interesting, but not something I would want to buy.

Amazing wine, strawberries and raspberries just burst from the glass. Finishes with a bit of earth and cedar.

seems to have faded, mainly secondary flavors of cedar and earth. Some strawberries fight their way through, but really nothing exciting.
