This is a fantastic bottle of wine. I don't know how this can have anything but 90+ reviews. We popped and poured, just for a taste, and then decanted for about 2-3 hours. Nice color, slight bricking as noted below. Barnyard/forest floor nose; musty, yet attractive and begging to be tasted. Herbs and dark berry palate, perhaps some mushroom and leather hidden in there as well. Just kept getting better and better in our glasses as the night progressed. I am thrilled to have three more bottles. Absolutely delicious.

Wish I had taken notes on this one, but because I didn't, I don't feel it's fair to give it a rating. However, I do remember it being absolutely delicious. Brought it to a family dinner of homemade beef stew, and it was the star of the night. Everyone indulged. Luckily, I have a couple more bottles. I think I'll keep those for myself. I do remember that this has a rather high ABV...16% if memory serves, but it didn't seem too hot at all. Looking forward to my other bottles.

Red/dark berry nose with the same on the palate; black pepper noted on the palate as well. Very nice with corned beef.
