See our notes from 2021. The wine is now fully mature, and some freshness has been traded for more tertiary aromas. Still excellent, but the time to drink it is now.

Blackish red, slightly paling edge. Large bq, typically Priorat, w stone dust, minerals, black fruit (blackberries, plums), liquorice, touch of toasted oak. Almost full body, plenty of acidity, forward tannins, black fruit w spicy overtones. Long, balanced aftertaste - elegant for a Priorat! Maybe one year away from full maturity. Excellent (as usual).

Cariñena (Carignan) and Garnacha (Grenache) blend. 80 yr old vines. Medium+ red-purple color. Baked sweet spizes, jammy strawberries and a bit of plum. Typical Grenache sweetness but in darker and more jammy version than in France with the added Carignan - almost like I would imagine a Grenache Merlot blend. Tannins and acidity too low to balance the heavy fruit imo.

In a lovely place. Nice nose. Still a lot of fruit through the middle palate. A long finish. Tannins well integrated. I wish I had more!
