The first bottle was undoubtedly oxidised and undrinkable - shame.
The second a great joy - pale gold, subtle white rose and honeysuckle, apricot but nothing over stated. Clear and crisp linear structure, taut acidity, decent length that cleans and cut through the cardamom of an Indian curry. A delicious wine worth opening now.

I thought this was fabulous paired with Maine lobster in a light cream sauce ! Sparkling golden color on pour. Aromatic nose of fresh white flowers, baked apple, and some ginger. Really solid on the palate with good reserve. The word crisp keeps coming to mind. The fruit is nicely restrained here, with touches of apricot and tangerine. The wine exudes a certain elegance and precision as opposed to overt richness. Very little oiliness here.
I enjoyed this immensely ! It seems at peak now and should drink well for another 1-2 years.

Lightly classic Viognier nose, nice slightly leaner fruit, touch of moderate richness turns mineral and steely. Probably could use a few more years in bottle. A burgundy winemaker in attendance said this was from underripe fruit.

Medium yellow colour. In the nose, this is fantastic, fresh ripe and dried apricots, saline elements, sublime floral aromas, super elegant, expressive, but at the same time subtle. In the mouth, it‘s less dense and thick than in other vintages, rather fresh, very concise, flowing along nicely, apricots again, super long. Absolutely beautiful.

This one was a bit of a surprise for me, did have any prior experience with Condrieu. On initial taste, I found this quite light and bright, but after taking a bite of the snapper and then retrying the wine both the wine and the food came alive. Wow - the power of a great pairing! There was a meyer lemon fresno chile sauce on the snapper - that just lifted this wine right up. Looking forward to exploring more of these wines in the future.
