Not unlike my note of 2/16/10, but the butter had totally receded and this was all about the mineral core and piercing qualities. Great pairing with lobster and smoked peaches.

Bang! This was dead-on with butter lurking behind a nice mineral and citrus. Nice maturing notes, but not sherry or oxidation-like. Nice persistence and apricot-like notes on the finish. Good depth and well-rounded. Really did well with shrimp/peas in a BBQ-spiced garlic cream.
