Lovely and quite savory nose with a bit of citrus and orchard fruit. It's surprisingly subtle but kept changing and evolving with air in the glass. Good acidity with lemon zest and a very distinct grapefruit flavor on the palate. Nice finish. A really delicious wine that opened up with air. It's still young and mostly about promise right now and I would hold this for another 5+ years. 94++

Ultra clean, super elegant, delicious. Beautiful clean green apple, long, lingering finish. Straight line, forward, somewhat direct. Not particularly mysterious, but the waxy sensation was lovely. A really enjoyable wine, but not a life-changer: for me, it doesn't keep me coming back, doesn't make me guess, does the work for me. Tasted from Coravin.

Night and day compared to the over the hill Leflaive (prob premox). Great tension and acidity, very precise and linear yellow orchard fruits, almost waxy body with good weight, this is about everything you would want in a Meursault. Hard to believe a village bottle could hit these heights.

Meursault Madness Dinner (Pomeroy - Winnetka IL): Ripe from the start without any sense of anything flabby. Broad cross-section of fruits, ranging from peach through pear through Meyer lemon with near Grand Cru density. A great Village level wine, just entering its peak drinking window. My WOTN.
