  • Very fine Aligoté. Tons of steely mineral tension, a bit of reduction, and a depth of orchard fruit (pear, unripe apricot), with a hint of muskmelon. Mouthwatering salinity and nice acidity. Very elegant, light but textural and a bit of persistence on the finish. 91

After a couple nights in the fridge, the reduction has disappeared, and the palate has acquired a lovely Chenin-like (aligote dore?) dimension - showing honeysuckle and wax on the nose, with extra depth of woolly minerality and golden raisin on the finish. Marvelous. 93
