  • Nose: roasted nuts, smoked meat, dried fruit, cinnamon, coconut water, hints of sweet potato
Notes: the last bottle I have, I would conclude that this is the same as the last bottle I had (maybe even a bit worse) which was quite disappointing and way too advanced. A bit too much meat and nuts on the nose. Marginally premoxed and this is not up to standard, freshness has been lost completely. Quite a disaster if we are talking about a Batard here.

  • Drinkable but wine at this level should still be fresh, especially in a vintage as malicious as 2007. Really great density.

  • Fat body, tastes like Meursult. Very vintage palate with amazing golden orange colour however I think it’s a bit too vintage for the taste.

  • Nose: gasoline, white flower, star fruit, hints of caramel, dried fig, creme brulee, red date, mandarin peel, cinnamon
Notes: a little advanced with slightly golden color. Behind all the complexity on the nose the palate is quite high on acidity and I believe it's probably past its most ideal drinking time. Many drinkers love drinking vintaged whites yet nowadays its hard to get vintaged whites that can express the right amount of freshness and fruits. Unfortunately I don't think this could improve with time and its time to drink up.

  • Honeysuckle, yellow fruit and minerals. Rich and powerful palate but lacking a bit of complexity for a Batard. Drinking at peak. Luckily no premox especially when its Niellon.
