2005 Saint-Laurent La Bohème (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 12/4/2018vindictive

I agree with a few prior notes -not a style I like. It is soft, warm and has a chocolate taste, not as oaky as some, but too much for me. Comes off as hot and flabby. I think Washington could make some great wines (early harvest, cooler vineyards, natural vinification, no new oak) and you would have to keep them, but I would love to see someone trying (749 views)

2005 Saint-Laurent La Bohème (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 9/25/2017wmccone5490

Still going strong at twelve years. Similar experience to the prior bottles enjoyed back in 2013. Deep purple color, full bodied, structured, black and red fruits, and smooth. Medium finish. Great food wine. Could easily last another 2-3 years. (1004 views)

2007 Saint-Laurent Syrah (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 4/16/2017Champagneinhand

They built this wine so far into the future that the winery collapsed. Great WA terroir and a very nice QPR. Nice blackberry and volcanic minerality with green peppercorn. Such a waste. Would have been great to see the farm and vineyard flourish. (591 views)

2006 Saint-Laurent Cabernet Sauvignon (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 11/10/2016neruda1188

Certainly a quality wine for this price point, but I'll definitely reach for Columbia Crest H3 in the future for a bargain cab. (1336 views)

2006 Saint-Laurent Cabernet Sauvignon (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 8/9/2016kakpoo93

another home run bottle of Saint Laurent cab, with crisp, ripe fruit, some gentle tobacco notes and a balance that only comes with hitting a wine in its aging sweet-spot. The only thing that separates this from much more expensive wines is its lack of complexity. But, in "deliciousness" this was hard to savor because it was so tasty....the bottle didn't last more than 2 hours before we emptied it. I'm almost embarrassed to give this wine a 93 because it will undermine my credibility, but this bottle was that good. Based on the balance this has at the moment, I don't see this improving anymore. Its still has some soft tannins and light acid on the finish so its certainly not dying, but I'm going to drink the rest of mine now while the wine is singing. (1147 views)

Inky dark ruby cassis nose. Dry with tart fruit, earthy tannins on opening. Bold body without being jammy, some stone fruit bitters, cherry and red plum fruit. Needs a little open time to develop. (705 views)

2005 Saint-Laurent Cabernet Sauvignon (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope) 9/25/2015dsgris89

Dark ruby withcherry nose. Dry chewy tannins, medium body and fruit, dusty cherries, roast beef with enough acid and lightly bitter tannins on the finish for a good balance between restrained and fruity. Well aged now and a good food wine. (924 views)
