Double decanted and left open overnight.

A nice floral bouquet, with soft tannins and went very well with the rib eye we had. Let down by the short finish. (2505 views)

Decanted 3 hrs, then slow ox in the fridge for 18 hrs. Had some sips and it was simply a tannic monster with only a little of the fruit showing.

At the end of the slow-ox, had it with a steak dinner, with a nice bouquet of red cherries and forest floor and it grew and grew with a long lingering finish and balsamic notes.

Started as a 90 pointer, and ending I would say its a 93+ with more upside. A very successful wine given the vintage. (588 views)

This is drinking really well right now.

Even then, the wine continued to evolve over next five hours.

Started off with lots of dark fruit, spicy notes, with very smooth tannins.
Finish was abit shorter than what I liked.

This wine performed much better than I expected.
Lots of black and red fruit with alot of secondary layers, with a long finish.

Dark red ruby, 48% Merlot and 48% Cab. 14% alcohol gives some burn at at the start, but it starts to mellow and finishes with sweet tannins. Represents more of a new world wine rather than old. (6495 views)

Everything was closed at first on the palate, but it had a very nice nose. Needed time to evolve in the glass, opening up with bright red fruit. The tannis are well-integrated, though slightly bitter at first. Long finish. Needs more time in the cellar. (5321 views)
