Weekly tasting group #113; a mixed set of red wines. (@ BS): In the bouquet cherry yoghurt with raspberries. On the palate cherry yoghurt, some herbs and spices, a lot of acidity, a touch of sweetness, hardly any tannin and some bitterness. Clean wine, but not really a pleasure. (714 views)

Taste-molasses?, earthy stone, spices (allspice and cinnamon maybe) there is a strange bitterness to it. Not a bad one but it's why I said molasses (2355 views)

Solid wine all around. Dark, fruity, but not overly cloying with it's staunch stance that it is "a bigger wine." There's structural integrity to its base, and it fills out quite nicely throughout the mouth, finishing with a pleasant, crisp splash of minerality. Concentrated; bordering on complex.
