2006 Alain Jaume Lirac Clos de Sixte  (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Lirac)Cinderella Wine in the Spotlight- Tasting the Most Talked About Wines, Episode #862 (5/13/2010)Gary VaynerchukWine Library TV
Rhone Blend - Lirac. #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a little radish; black pepper and spiciness; beautiful strawberry fruit; just a gorgeous nose; smells big; PALATE-black fruit; a little prune aspect on the back-end; beautiful red and black fruit; very clean; strawberry and raspberry jam; reminds me of a cherry fruit roll up; great tannins; dark chocolate on the back-end; a little heat on the back-end; tastes like a good CdP in the $30-$35 range; RP-90; WS-90; GV-90+ 90+ points
2005 Les Crêtes Syrah Coteau La Tour  (Italy, Valle d'Aosta)Cinderella Wine in the Spotlight- Tasting the Most Talked About Wines, Episode #862 (5/13/2010)Gary VaynerchukWine Library TV
Syrah - France. #3; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a huge amount of black pepper; like an overly peppered beef jerky; some subtle red fruit on the back end; cherry and red peppers; PALATE-it's pretty light; very delicate; Burgundian characteristics; a hint of ruby red grapefruit; reminds me of salted fish; enormous amount of minerality makes it off balance; disjointed and awkward; some complexities; rose petal; sour red pepper; thought provoking; most won't like this; I like, but the mid-palate is a little hollow; AG-92; GV-88/89 (88-89) points
2005 Bodegas Elías Mora Toro Gran Elías Mora  (Spain, Castilla y León, Toro)Cinderella Wine in the Spotlight- Tasting the Most Talked About Wines, Episode #862 (5/13/2010)Gary VaynerchukWine Library TV
Red Blend - Spain. #1; COLOR-very dark; NOSE-coconut; raspberry; oak; big dark fruit; black cherries; PALATE-big, bold, delicious; structured; dark and tannic; and really nice blueberry pie flavors on the back-end; good firm tannic structure; great finish; will last for 10-12 years easy; a little over-oaked for me; really well made; beautiful wine; a little big for my palate; JM-93; JR-93; WS-95; GV-92 92 points
