Deep nose of violet, black cherry, tobacco and leather
Palate is strongly brambly blackberry, olive compote. Some blackberry on the back end.
Finish is long, at least 45 sec. Soft round tannin.

Nose is a honeyed vanilla. Touch of Gardenia and Confederate Jasmine
Palate is predictably soft with rich oily notes of honeysuckle and more jasmine. Touch of honeydew rind.
The finish is the kicker and it is strong and long.

Blackberry and cherry, bramble on the nose
Juicy, mouth filling tannin with black cherry, blackberry and a touch of cigar spice on the palate with a very lengthy finish.

Cork was crumbling when we took it out and had to be pushed into bottle, the wine was strained and decanted for about 45 minutes before tasting. The color is inky purple with a ruby rim. Nose juicy blackberry, licorice, black pepper, little bit of oak. Palate is full, rich and deep, with tannins that have softened but are in evidence. The backbone on this wine is big and strong. The finish is easily two minutes without being drying. (1720 views)
