Tasted by Derek Darth Taster on 10/17/2023 & rated 88 points: Sangiovese or Nebbiolo theme dinner at Solo. White off the list to start. Tasted blind. Drank in Spiegelau Definition Universal.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fennel, green guava, citrus green lime, saline stones minerality. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (12.5%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of green guava, citrus lime, fennel, stony minerality. Rounded medium finish.
Good quality. The slight greenness about it made us guess Sauvignon Blanc from Fiuili at first. Drink fresh. (503 views)
Media persistenza. (819 views)
Tasted by chatters on 4/15/2023: Divino Wine Tasting Party (Foveaux Street, Surry Hills): funky, meaty (wild ferment), lees work, stone fruit; apricot, sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of drying tannic gip which proves too much for the stone fruit, Hmm. (946 views)
Tasted by rmalloy on 3/4/2023 & rated 88 points: It’s wholly pleasant, but it is too light to regard highly. (936 views)
Tasted by RctcWine on 12/2/2022 & rated 90 points: Mildly acidic , smooth, hint of honey for some sweetness. Tasted in Italy in Bolgeri. (772 views)
Tasted by rruffini on 11/28/2022 & rated 89 points: Molto buono. Un top del genere. Molto apprezzato da tutti (599 views)
Tasted by Mark van Delft on 9/9/2022 & rated 87 points: Floral Vermentino: minerals, white peach, honey, pear, almond, pineapple, nostalgic yet disappointing. Wining with Bas. (556 views)
