Tasted by StewartWent on 5/19/2024 & rated 90 points: 50th Dinner Scopri. Best BdB I've ever tasted and probably WOTN. (1208 views)
Tasted by Papies on 5/17/2024 & rated 92 points: A Savage Weekend for Chica’s 45th; 5/16/2024-5/19/2024: Two very consistent bottles very correctly served in relatively large white wine glasses ( like proper amateurs we took the worst possible foto and thus no disgorgement data..) . Bright and firm, aperitif focus, but the wine with a bit of aeration in the glass and also when the temperature was a bit more room temperature than cold is when the champagne was at optimal and really showed a much much better side to the first sip. We argue for always decanting white wines but maybe we need to start arguing that for champagnes too? Ha! 92-93 and very very good but required patience and the right glassware. Pls NO flutes ( they are for beer anyway) (1247 views)
Tasted by thkim on 5/12/2024 & rated 92 points: 오랜만에 마신 아그라파 테루아! 우아한 느낌에 잘만들어진
샴페인 (1472 views)
Tasted by drrobvino on 5/10/2024 & rated 93 points: Bottle 4 of 6, last had this wine ~15 mos ago.
Bottled 05/2015 and DG 09/2018, 100% Chardonnay.
This lovely, bright BdB set a beautiful exclamation point to my Friday and EOW.
Tangy lemon curd and zest, notes of Krispy Kreme donut glaze, a warm loaf of freshly baked bread, white peppery spice, and some chalky saline notes.
The finish goes on and on, with acidity that pulls in the cheeks, and persistent chalk and minerality that begs for another sip.
Delicious, drink this 2018 DG through 2028+, but sooner than later for me, as it seems to be in a sweet spot. (1370 views)
 Tasted by englishman's claret on 4/30/2024 & rated 94 points: Bottled 5/2014 (presumably 2013 base), disgorged 6/2017
Lime blossom, lemon curd, oyster, yuzu - immeasurably better after open for 2 hours.
Zesty and fresh but still with generosity, fattening up gorgeously. 94-95 (2620 views)
Tasted by ben7210 on 4/19/2024 & rated 89 points: Medium gold. Pronounced nose of brioche some funk, on the palate high acid, medium alcohol, full body. Apples almonds, ginger, more oxidized than I prefer, very restrained bubbles, long finish. It packs intensity on the palate but also finishes kind of soft. Good. (2119 views)
Tasted by geraldsng on 4/8/2024: Chalky and saline enough for oysters. 2016 base and disgorged 2020, so some time to settle which is important for champagnes. Previous bottles were tightly wound and had an acidic streak; this one is just about in the zone with evident aromatics and nice palate texture. (2875 views)
Tasted by Mr. Montrachet on 4/6/2024 & rated 93 points: Creamy and generous plus chiseled acidity. Some ox. notes, citrus and apples, baked pastry and a golden sunset.(2019, disg. 2022) (2280 views)
Tasted by parkline_wine on 3/16/2024 & rated 93 points: Great chardonnay elements, ripe citrus, creamy, all the goods, light mousse. Disgorged in 2017. (2989 views)
Tasted by NickA on 3/15/2024 & rated 90 points: Bottled May 2017, disgorged February 2021. Quite golden, and not very fizzy. Open, airy nose. Creamy, and with a butterscotch note that then developed through the midpalate into something sharper and greener. Lingering (but not especially delicious) finish. This doesn't seem as straightforwardly tasty as the 2022 disgorged version. (2794 views)
Tasted by Derek Darth Taster on 3/14/2024 & rated 89 points: Disgorged May 2018. Dosage 5g/l.
Lots of air time allows this champagne to show. Dosage provides counterbalance to the salty saline stony minerality. (2649 views)
Tasted by etyc on 3/13/2024: Again, this was very good. In fact, it got better in the glass with more air/warmth. Equally as enjoyable as the Krug 167! (2451 views)
Tasted by olioli on 3/2/2024 & rated 92 points: Dégorgé mai 2019. (2990 views)
Tasted by bps2266 on 2/14/2024: brief impression. 2023 disgorgement. hay color with fine mousse and active delicate fine bead. lemon and almond pastry nose. light bodied with high acidity and an exceptionally suave mouthfeel. really dances on the palate. flavors echo the nose with lemon rind and green apple on the finish. a top tier cuvée, my first experience with the maker and won’t be my last. (3212 views)
Tasted by mattyboy_ on 1/15/2024 & rated 93 points: April 2020 disgorgement (based on 2017 vintage)
So delicious. Beautiful chardonnay fruit - all Grand Cru fruit. Lovely toast, baked pastry, ripe citrus, yellow fruit. Seamless entry, extremely fine bead. Wonderful length. Consistently, one of my favorite wines in the Agrapart lineup. (3993 views)
Tasted by hadukla on 1/13/2024 & rated 93 points: Beautiful, A nice depth to it while still nice and crisp. Will get more. (2945 views)
Tasted by Paschap on 12/16/2023 & rated 94 points: Дегоржаж 01/2018. Ощутимые грибы и подвал, позавчерашний багет, миндаль, печёные яблоки, штрудель, есть чуть квашенной капустки, сливки, мел, спустя время - кофе. Во вкусе среднее тело, высокая кислотность, минеральное. 94/100 (3959 views)
Tasted by chmorc on 12/16/2023 & rated 91 points: Nice weight and texture to the wine, notes of ginger, lemon and lime pith on the finish. The length is medium long. (3191 views)
Tasted by Exarsi on 11/15/2023 & rated 92 points: Drank over a few days, tasty the whole time. Great acid and a really fine mousse, biscuit, a little chocolate, and buttery notes alongside a bit of peachiness. (4120 views)
Tasted by Njbern on 11/11/2023 & rated 91 points: Pretty light but super tasty. Biscuit, crystallized ginger, a hint of lime or even kefir lime. Grapefruit peel (3104 views)
Tasted by oxidatif on 11/9/2023: Lot May 19, May 22. So I guess that’s 18 base vintage? Nose is lemon curd and brioche. Round body up front and the fruit is particularly ripe, candied lemon and leaning stonefruit intensity. Good acidity, good length. Delicious. 5g/l but does not feel heavy at all, very well balanced. If I’m nitpicking, it’s a little thin on the finish….but at this price point I don’t know if nitpicking is warranted. (3267 views)
Tasted by dcwino on 11/2/2023 & rated 94 points: Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): En magnum. This is actually vintage 2008. Expressive nose displaying sweet pure yellow fruit, baked apple, a hint of lemon curd, light honey, white flower, sweet spices and limestone. Very good concentration, generous sweet yellow fruit, rich and sweet but also pure and energetic, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long sweet yellow fruit driven finish. It clearly demonstrates the 08 greatness. (3938 views)
Tasted by kryspolak on 10/31/2023: Pretty lean but enough body to keep it balanced. Citrusy nose - not as chalky as some of their other bottlings. Mouthwatering. Very fun out of a magnum (1328 views)
Tasted by Ghoulardi on 10/16/2023: Initial look at the 2023 disgorgement, base vintage 2019.
This is clearly freshly disgorged and needs a bit more time, but is already pleasurable and promising. (3656 views)
Tasted by The_Cat on 10/13/2023 & rated 93 points: Elegant and multilayered bdb with lots of exotic flavors some brioche notes medium to full body with fine bubbles snd very long finish. (743 views)

Champagne

Le Champagne (Le comité interprofessionnel du vin de Champagne) | Grandes Marques & Maisons de Champagne (Union des Maisons de Champagne)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
