Tasted by aChave on 8/28/2020 & rated 89 points: Consistent. Round and hints of ripe lemon. Lushness of a 2015. (1300 views)
Tasted by aChave on 7/31/2020 & rated 89 points: Delicious. Some fat of the vintage, but good balance. Excellent food wine on opening. (684 views)
Tasted by Palisades57 on 7/15/2020 & rated 87 points: Phenolic character. Fortunately not marked by the vintage. Still not classic Bourgogne nose or palate, and not complex. These are not really criticisms just observations, and am glad I bought it. Tasty and a crowd pleaser. (667 views)
Tasted by FjordogFjell on 7/7/2020 & rated 84 points: Fin fyldig gulplomme frukt. Pors. Ok syre og litt fast bitt i avslutningen (557 views)
Tasted by aChave on 4/8/2020 & rated 90 points: Consistently good. Another top quality Bourgogne from this producer. (714 views)
Tasted by aChave on 3/2/2020 & rated 90 points: Same as previous:
Energetic with strong lemony core of fine fruit. Length and delicious finish. Lean rather than broad. Good precision. Drinks well above level. (666 views)
Tasted by aChave on 2/25/2020 & rated 90 points: Energetic with strong lemony core of fine fruit. Length and delicious finish. Lean rather than broad. Good precision. Drinks well above level. (718 views)
Tasted by Heynetty on 8/6/2018: Tasted Blind

A: Medium lemon
N: Yeast, lemon, what i thought was some honey was actually light vanilla, phenolic bitterness, stonefruit. The yeast seemed overbearing here which rather hid the wet stone. Medium (+) nose
P: Dry, medium (+) acidity, phenolic bitterness, alcohol felt high but was only medium (13%), full body, medium (+) intensity and finish.
C: Drink now. Its a pretty neutral wine.

GUESSES:
Warm climate as i thought the alcohol was high. New world owing to the style and the fact, i could barely detect the wet stone. Guessed the grape was an odd pinot gris or viognier. There was stone fruit here.

MISTAKES:
Oh so many! The phenolic bitterness was definitely there. It might have been derived from the barrel. It completely confused me, add to that the crazy amounts of yeast and this could have been a PG. However, thinking about it stale beer rather than yeast is what I find at the end of a glass of PG. The yeast aroma may have been caused by battonage but I would associate that practice with pricier burgundies. Don’t know if it was a great example of a burgundy and at WSET 4 level, we are not tested on Borgogne Blanc, thankfully.
I wonder why there was such a burn to the throat on this one when the alcohol was merely medium. (2293 views)
Tasted by Jeffyboy on 8/4/2018 & rated 91 points: clear, intense lemon colour; chiny; excellent. nose: apples, some honey notes; hay. taste: medium acidity; sweet grapes, butter, vanilla, caramel - but everything delicate and elegant; medium length finish of apples and toffie. Superb balance. Very elegant. (1917 views)
Tasted by rukla on 7/19/2018 & rated 88 points: Smør og floral duft. God syre, lite mineralitet. (1921 views)
Tasted by bourgogre on 7/19/2018: Vin doré pâle et clair.

Tasted by amitamj on 7/3/2018 & rated 97 points: Light, refreshing and delicious. Hints of vanilla and well balanced finish (1934 views)
Tasted by FjordogFjell on 4/30/2018 & rated 85 points: Fin fyldig frukt, stjerne frukt, mandel, smør. Grønn og litt beisk ettersmak. (1055 views)
88 (1152 views)
Tasted by Tibleu on 3/24/2018: Good balance between fresh fruit and subtle buttery oak notes. Not particularly sharp or mineral, but everything is in balance. Very nice for a simple Bourgogne AOC bottling. (980 views)
Tasted by GonzaloManzaneda on 3/5/2018 & rated 89 points: Nariz cítrica y floral. Algo de mantequilla y madera. Expresividad y complejidad media. Acidez y frescura elevada. Muy vertical y directo.
Muy bueno para ser el precio. Good value for the price. (974 views)
Tasted by SiR on 3/3/2018 & rated 89 points: 13.0% - Clear, med- lemon with some gold reflection / clean, med intensity citrus, lemon custard, pear, orchard fruit, fresh butter, white flower/ dry, med acidity, med body, med intensity but with a rather persistent finish, superb texture.

Compared to my last TN, different bottle different wine... Still not the most expressive, but texture wise, this one was beautiful. Felt like ripe orchard fruit wrapped in a velvety custard. I have to say that it kind of grew on me... 89(+) (753 views)
Tasted by ant-1 on 2/21/2018: M'a paru mou. On sent une minéralité mais tout est pataud. (1172 views)
Tasted by SiR on 2/17/2018 & rated 88 points: 13.0% - Clear, med to pale & light lemon / clean, med intensity - green apple, lemon, lightly floral, kiss of oak, mineral / dry, med+ acidity, med to light body, med intensity and length. Well balanced, but was hoping for more intensity and/or length. (957 views)
Tasted by NedM on 11/17/2017: Fine though not a must buy. (1209 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
