Tasted by Tiderunner22 on 8/11/2023 & rated 89 points: Always excellent. Great QPR at $13 sale price. This wine offers something for every level of wine aficionado. (731 views)
Tasted by PAMartin on 3/26/2023 & rated 85 points: Always a favourite. I wish it was available in BC.
Decanting adds to an already complex taste. (1088 views)
Tasted by Tiderunner22 on 9/17/2022 & rated 89 points: Impressive well structured Zinfandel blend with an excellent QPR at $13. Good cellar defender when you are looking for something to spice thing up. (2183 views)
Tasted by Hwis on 9/15/2022 & rated 80 points: 인위적인 오크향이 너무 많이 남 (1920 views)
Tasted by brujazz on 9/13/2022 & rated 90 points: Big and chewy with a longer finish and more complexity than you usually get at this price point. From vintage to vintage, never fails to cut it. (2001 views)
Tasted by Deegie on 9/4/2022 & rated 90 points: Blackberry, red cherry, plum, black pepper, vanilla, and cocoa. Lovely and smooth. Quite tannic. (1555 views)
Tasted by whudock on 7/21/2022 & rated 90 points: As always, an excellent QPR wine. Plum and cherry fruit, earth, leather, iron and a bit of spice. (1712 views)
Tasted by BVJohnson15 on 7/3/2022 & rated 88 points: On the nose it had plumb, fig, dried raisins, little bit of oak. As it opens you get the tart cranberry, on the palate is so much the same. It does have a velvety, dry tannic finish but it’s pleasing. It gets softer and fruiter. Some tart on the finish too. It reminds me of a fruit roll up and makes the sides of your jaw pucker a bit with some mediums to high acid. I was told to try this as a better alternative to prisoner. That was spot on. This drinks so much more smooth with nice fruit. Much more pleasing then prisoner. (822 views)
Tasted by Jobu on 6/3/2022 & rated 90 points: Consistent with previous bottle. It’s an enjoyable under $20 bottle. (985 views)
Tasted by Dean&Libby on 5/30/2022 & rated 92 points: Red berries and pepper prominent at the start. Then oak and vanilla, with other spices becoming apparent in the finish very nice, and likely to improve with age and proper cellaring. (844 views)
Tasted by Jobu on 5/6/2022 & rated 90 points: Pretty tasty. Blackberry, some plum. Black pepper. Small bit of oaky vanillin. Little tartness on the end in a good way. I thought 88 on first sip, but it grew on me. Works out for less than $20. Blend of 50.5% Zin, 49.5% Petite Sirah. (869 views)
Tasted by W247 on 5/4/2022 & rated 75 points: Okay for daily drinker. Trish didn’t like because too much spice (594 views)
Tasted by rahul_d_chatter@yahoo.com on 3/22/2022 & rated 88 points: Nice wine, if a little overworked. Pnp through the Venturi. Quite an effusive bouquet. Notes of dark berries, violets, peppercorns, juniper, spice, and wood. Blend of Petite Syrah and Zinfandel. Full bodied, medium acidity, medium+ finish. I would give it a few more years in the bottle or give it a couple of hours of decant. Nice every day wine. 92 pts from WE a little generous, but does shed light on this powerful everyday wine that would go well with burgers and BBQ.

Repeat purchase? Maybe (852 views)
Tasted by Romz on 3/5/2022 & rated 90 points: Hauntingly delicious”.The tagline of this wine. Opulent dark ruby to purplish trimmings at its edges. The nose is filled with succulent and juicy mix of cherry, ripe fig, oak, tobacco notes and black pepper. Relatively young vintage but so ready to drink from start. Firm yet fleshy on the palate with rounded & almost mouth coating finish with finishing notes of vanilla or hazelnut liquor. The finish is long and satisfying. Wine is so easy to drink and definitely makes me scream for more. Yums! (752 views)
 Tasted by snarfglk on 2/21/2022 & rated 89 points: 89+ (729 views)
Tasted by NewKlNGjames on 10/14/2021: A lot of pepper, with a vanilla finish. Not something to have regularly, but a good change of pace. (1334 views)
Tasted by TBurgisser on 9/18/2021 & rated 65 points: Tastes good enough to finish but no need to purchase again (1151 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
