Not quite as vibrant and floral as when first opened. Nose of orange, honey, raisin bread, and coco, paired with chocolate, same on the palate, big body, less intense, almost as rich, still elegant, less mouth filling, delicious tasting, and a long, long, flavorful finish of thirty seconds. (1382 views) | | Tasted by bestdamncab on 10/26/2017 & rated 100 points: Bordeaux Birthday Dinner with 1978 Chateau Margaux, 1982 La Tour Haut Brion, and 1983 Chateau Gruaud Larose, dessert featured this wine with orange cheesecake, with freshly sliced strawberries and fresh blueberries spooned on top, nose of orange, mango, honey, baked raisin bread, and Bual Madeira, same on the palate, big body, intense, rich, elegant, mouth filling, seventy-one years old and going strong, just fabulous, lovely and delicious, long, long, long, long finish of sixty seconds.
