Tasted by Raage on 5/8/2023 flawed bottle: Touche d’oxydation, et c’est bien dommage car en bouche l’equilibre restait remarquable, avec une finale savoyarde (acidulée et pierreuse) intacte. (621 views)
(1424 views)
Tasted by rhit on 11/28/2020: Found a bottle previously thought lost. Eight years later, and it's still bright and richly textured, with a brassy tone to the fruit I've found in other gringet. Not sure how much more this will develop, but probably not a bad idea to drink soon. (988 views)
Tasted by jjct on 4/20/2020: Apple cider. (1196 views)
Tasted by jjct on 4/6/2020: The texture and acidity are still there, but the fruit sags and tastes oxidized. (1130 views)
Tasted by ravbik on 5/24/2017 & rated 89 points: Crisp, clean. Some tropical elements but got some kerosene and other unusual notes (2641 views)
Tasted by christyler on 8/28/2016: Slightly oxidized. Showing it in both color and taste. Too bad! (2682 views)
Tasted by LoireFan on 5/31/2016 & rated 91 points: These wines need a LOT of ageing, I've decided. (2643 views)
Tasted by Pierre-Yves on 2/16/2016 & rated 91 points: This really improved from the last tasting (3 years 1/2) ago : and this is fantastic.
The mandarin and white flower is there, but with everything turn up a notch.
Fabulous with Yuzukosho as usual with gringet ( like the Mont Blanc bottling for that matter) (2928 views)
Tasted by LoireFan on 12/13/2015 & rated 92 points: Much more pleasing than two years ago. (2761 views)
Tasted by Rieslingfan on 3/22/2015: Quick splash in my glass before adding a 1/2 cup to the soup pot, and it's a delicious splash. Plenty of palate richness, ripe tree fruit, bordering on tropical, and a clean, persistent mid-palate and finish. I like the depth here, as it can stand in for other full-bodied whites without being oaky or buttery. Drinking very well now, though with so little experience with these wines I cannot say what age might do for it. (2817 views)
Tasted by Atwellian on 8/25/2014 & rated 87 points: Enjoyed quite a bit more than the last bottle. Mellow and tropical initial nose and flavors, good finish with moderate acidity. Somewhat weak in the mid-palate. (2433 views)
Tasted by Mr T on 7/14/2014: can't say this floats my boat (2371 views)
Tasted by thebonnydooner on 4/4/2014 & rated 91 points: Clear and bright, light lemon straw, intense interesting, slightly oxidative nose, almond, peach, apple, minerally. Medium bodied, juicy, crisp, slightly bitter almond note, apple, lemon and quince notes, lots of minerals. This is delicious, vibrant and very complex. (2427 views)
 Tasted by jkwatson on 2/25/2014 & rated 90 points: <3 (2511 views)
Tasted by paulziemba on 2/15/2014 & rated 90 points: Fascinating. Stone fruit, lemon, and rocks. (2246 views)
Tasted by celestialmundane on 2/5/2014 & rated 89 points: Pale lemon. Faint peach and buttery(?) nose. It's buttery & minerally & fruity. Soft and nice. Unusual. (1972 views)
Tasted by dougsmith on 11/29/2013 & rated 89 points: Light lemon color. Lots of bright green apple fruit with some cool grassy notes. Good acid zing on the palate. (2003 views)
Tasted by gordoyflaca on 11/16/2013 & rated 93 points: Awesome peach and nectarine and dry ice and kiwi and mineral water rivulets (1760 views)
Tasted by WST on 10/21/2013 & rated 90 points: I buy this year after year, and no reason to stop after this bottle. Very unique, with loire chenin focus and minerality but more round and perhaps full on the palate. Love what Belluard does with Gringet. (2047 views)
Tasted by Mr T on 10/14/2013: somewhat appley and oxidized....not necessarily our taste (1751 views)
Tasted by LoireFan on 9/6/2013 & rated 88 points: Intense yet not offering much pleasure. Aging would help here. (1863 views)
Tasted by cartime on 7/16/2013 & rated 90 points: Very similar notes to last time. If tasting blind, I might guess Savennieres. (1933 views)
Tasted by tbone on 6/29/2013: Sensational bottle of wine, wish I had more. (1890 views)
Tasted by pifcho on 6/27/2013 & rated 91 points: I really enjoyed it. This has the built and minerality of a 1er cru white burg, but offers interesting peach, honey and citrus notes on the palate. Very refreshing yet offering serious depth. Perfect wine for a hot summer night. 91+ (1900 views)
