Color is still saturated and glass staining with dark ruby hues.
Aromas show a foresty edge of damp earth, cedar forest, bramble bush, Spanish moss and eucalyptus scents to the notes of cherry filling, cassis, sunburnt strawberry and nuances of devil's food cake, dried rose and a potpourri quality with hints of anise and pink peppercorn that come with a touch of warmth from the abv.
The palate shows sun-kissed strawberry notes with Kirch and cassis, week-old red vines, bramble, anise, smoke, floral pastilles, dense chocolate cake, earth and hints of pink peppercorn.
