Tasted by Stephenfrench902 on 2/18/2023 & rated 88 points: Lovely subtle flavour for a port - nice and easy to drink with a mellow profile. (946 views)
Tasted by lake.vino on 12/11/2022 & rated 91 points: Butterscotch, pecan pie, raisin, salty toffee. Palate shows salt, toffee, nuts. Balanced sweetness - enough acid and structure to keep me coming back. (985 views)
Tasted by DK Amateur on 11/18/2022: Bottled 2021. This is an exceptionally good 10 years tawny, even better than the 20 years from Burmester because it is drier and as complex and fragrant as that one. I haven't tasted them together but at least I think that the cane sugar nose with smoky notes and the firm layered taste were better than any 10 year old I can think of. (987 views)
Tasted by Mmoellern on 6/18/2022 & rated 91 points: All that I could want from a red port. (1156 views)
Tasted by mwagner7700 on 2/20/2022: Purchased for $40. A bit high for a 10-Year. A cloudy rust, burnt orange in color. Nose of caramel, toffee, spice and hazelnut. Similar notes on the palate with sticky apricot, fig and orange marmalade. Complex, but a really short finish. Disappointingly short. There's also a slight sour, burnt note on the finish. Better than Taylor and Dow, but a step behind the Vallado. Grade: A- (1470 views)
Tasted by Isobel goudi on 11/27/2021 & rated 92 points: Sehr fein nuss karamell elegant mittlerer langer Abgang (1114 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 10/15/2021: Tasting Training for WSET Level 4, Units D4 + D5 - Session 7 (non-blind): Wine 4: The wine has a medium amber colour. The nose has medium intensity and shows aromas of cherry, blackberry, toffee, caramel, almond, hazelnut, and coffee.

On the palate the wine is sweet, with medium(+) acidity, medium(-) tannin that is ripe and soft, high alcohol and medium(-) body. The flavour intensity is medium, flavours include red cherry, hazelnut, walnut, mushroom, toffee, caramel, coffee and chocolate. The wine's texture is oily, the wine has medium length.

This is a good quality wine since it has medium intensity of aromas and flavours, medium complexity and medium length. To be considered being of very good quality the wine would need even greater complexity and greater length.

The wine was aged oxidatively and will not improve with further time in bottle. It is hence not suitable for further ageing in bottle.

NB: I recall that I had liked previous bottles better, and I bought this particular bottle more than five years ago, so it deserves the benefit of the doubt. Fresher bottles might show better. (8065 views)

Tasted by TheYenius on 5/13/2020 & rated 89 points: Very light amber color. Hints of honey, and almonds, no residual fruit. Good balance, smooth. Sub-average length finish. (1556 views)
Tasted by Weinberg Falls on 5/8/2020 & rated 89 points: Bottled 2016. Light tawny in the glass. Molasses, raisin and caramel on the nose with a hint of rose petal. Fig, custard and spiced rum baba on the sweet palate. One dimensional but tasty. (1235 views)
Tasted by cono_sur on 2/7/2020 & rated 91 points: Lovely nose of brown spices, caramel, burnt sugar, and fig aromas. The full-bodied palate is rich and sweet with white raisin, spicy, fig, and nutty flavours with a smooth texture and nicely balanced acids. Finishes long with spice and nutty notes. (1264 views)
Tasted by mjwstickings on 10/12/2019 & rated 91 points: This a fantastic 10-year-old tawny that balances freshness with characteristic aged port elements, showcasing notes of raisin, prune, honey (both buckwheat and floral), red berries, walnut, molasses and dark brown sugar, with hints of baking spice and chocolate. It's sweet, of course, but there's also vibrant acidity, yet more balance. It also features excellent texture and length, silky and smooth and lingering on the palate for ages. I especially enjoyed this quite chilled, even right out of the fridge, which accentuated the brown and almost peppery spice, made the silky texture even more voluptuous, and balanced the rich notes with a wonderfully refreshing quality. Superb value at $29 in Ontario, and in the 91-92 range. (691 views)
Tasted by WineCenturyAZ on 7/13/2019 & rated 89 points: Pale garnet turning to amber at the core, palate is medium sweet and pronounced, fruits are dried and stewed, prune, mission fig, baking spice, dark honey notes, rum raisin, pastry note, vanilla, long finish. Very nice. (774 views)
Tasted by SlimShaney on 4/19/2019 & rated 89 points: Pleasant tawny with a sea salt crest on the caramel waves

Pine Cliffs bar, Algarve, Portugal. (1365 views)
Tasted by Isobel goudi on 12/30/2017 & rated 88 points: Cognac farben. Intensive nase. Alkohol noch recht präsent. Noch länger liegen lassen. (615 views)
Tasted by canan on 9/21/2017 & rated 88 points: 4 x 50 Years (10 and 40 YO Tanwy) from the same producers: Juice and sweet raspberry fruit with a lovely spicy aftertaste.
An okay wine but lacks a bit of acidity. (2305 views)
Tasted by fredfta on 9/16/2017 & rated 90 points: Belo Porto, com cativante visual âmbar, brilhante e translúcido. Nariz franco, com aromas de baunilha, caramelo, talco, mel, uva passa, amêndoas e café. Na boca é delicado e untuoso, com acidez, dulçor, álcool e taninos bem trabalhados e dosados. A repetir!  Tasted by bacchus of knockholt on 8/19/2017 & rated 90 points: Tasted at Porto airport lounge, where else to taste Port? The aromas are of oak spice, dried fruits, walnut. The palate is incredibly sweet with lots of warmth from the alcohol as it goes down but the red fruit is there, it's very spicy on the palate and has a nice long finish. Top notch port and they have a bottle open to serve yourself so I'm going to have another one... (1651 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 12/17/2016 & rated 89 points: The wine was light garnet in colour and offered orange peel, dried dark fruit in rum, burned caramel, mushroom and nuts on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange peel, dark fruit in rum, nuts, mushroom and spices, with good length. The light-bodied wine tasted sweet, but not overly, with just enough acidity to keep this Tawny well-balanced and reasonably fresh. This Tawny won’t win any prices for complexity or concentration, but it was a very pleasant drink. Actually, it was one of the most drinkable Tawnys I have come across and I liked it for its drinkability and balance. Good value. Score for day one; I agree with Wine Canuck that this Tawny lost much of its appeal within a week. (2137 views)
Tasted by ColinR on 11/3/2016 & rated 92 points: Garnet-orange, brown at rim; burnt sugar, stewed cherries, raisins, earth, cloves, gingersnaps; caramel, marmalade, hazelnut, slightly syrupy, medium body, decent acidity, balanced heat, fine tannins, lingering finish.
Complex yet delicate notes of sugar, spices, dried fruit and sherry with an intriguing bitter finish. Fairly dry, not a lot of structure but delicious. (1930 views)
Tasted by IsakOfMoe on 10/1/2016 & rated 93 points: Really good! (1508 views)
Tasted by eboracum on 12/31/2014 & rated 92 points: On leaving the wine shop, I was wondering why this tawny was so expensive but on opening it I knew why. It was delicious with slightly deeper colour and fuller body than often with tawny and was perfectly focussed with ethereally sweet fruit, beginnings of secondary flavours and enough acidity and grip on the long finish to leave a completely uncloying after-taste. Very elegant and very good.

PS- Many thanks to Wine Canuck. As a result of your "update", I hastened to finish this bottle today (01/04/2015) when it was still delicious. (3216 views)
Tasted by Wine Canuck on 1/5/2014 & rated 93 points: Really blown away by the latest release of this bottling. More transparent and brown than the Offley 10 drank along side it. As this warms from cellar temperature the nose opens up to praline, pine resin, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg, caramel, wet wood, red berries, and plums. The palate is excellently balanced with a fantastically long finish of red berries, mixed nuts, and coriander. Absolutely beautiful.

Update: After 1.5 weeks open this really went downhill with a strong one-dimensional note of candy apple. My advice is not to leave this open too long. (4453 views)
Tasted by bakke on 7/8/2013 & rated 93 points: great sweet smell, great taste, bottled 2010 will improve for 10 years. (4098 views)
Tasted by Dandiophile on 12/27/2012 & rated 86 points: Nice rich colour. Good viscosity, quite sweet, medium bodied. Not much in terms of complexity, but a nice nose/palate of roasted nuts & raisin. More heat than I'd like, but it isn't killing it. Everything else in balance. Pretty good value here at $25 Cdn, but there is better to be had for just a few bucks more (Graham's, as an example).
