Tasted by vinophobic on 9/19/2014 & rated 92 points: First time having a DP Sav Blanc and I'm extremely impressed. This shows a really unique personality. Very enjoyable and different racy and zippy grapefruit and slight peach flavor with some Chablis-esque minerality and seashell balance. My favorite NZ Sav Blanc thus far -- makes Cloudy Bay seem pedestrian. (4683 views)
Tasted by graemeg on 8/13/2014: {screwcap, 13.5%} Pungent, intense nose of seashells and stainless steel. The palate tastes like someone put a bunch of oyster shells in a blender, so briney and salty are the flavours. Mineral, sandstone, with a touch of grapefruit and gooseberry too. No oak. Medium-bodied, with good mid-palate presence, decent balance along the tongue, and a dry, not-too-acidic medium-length finish. Clearly Marlborough, but with a touch of class about it; doesn't seem too commercial. Auction buy at A$15 was good value. (4861 views)
Tasted by 422dbowlsby on 8/11/2014 & rated 90 points: Typical NZ lemongrass and grapefruit aromas, but clean and crisp delivery. Almost a sparkling wine mouth feel. (4755 views)
Tasted by wayfarer on 6/6/2014 & rated 89 points: Per prior tasting note, maybe slightly less wowed, but still a fine SB, with great up front nose of citrus/grapefruit/mineral and ample body as well as a fine finish. (5081 views)

Tasted by chatters on 5/1/2014: Green capsicum, stale passion fruit and cats pee. An indifferent Kiwi Sav Blanc. (1495 views)

Tasted by Praxis on 4/11/2014 & rated 89 points: Light yellow with a beautiful floral nose with citrus, tropical fruits, and asparagus. An intensely fruity and medium weight NZ sauvignon blanc with a nice zippy savory finish. (2425 views)
Tasted by Paul S on 4/4/2014 & rated 90 points: Just a bit on the simple side, but this was still a rather good Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The nose had pretty tropical aromas of ripe gooseberries, passion fruit and green mangoes, with a little floral ring and a touch of mineral. The palate was very pleasant, with a lovely citrus balance and nice, juicy flavours of lemons and limes leading into more tropical green guava notes. The finish led out with a little spice and mineral trailing into the back palate. Nothing too complex or serious, but this was quite enjoyable. It is drinking well young too. (2904 views)
Tasted by dimdic on 3/12/2014 & rated 93 points: Its fresh cut grassy aroma was significantly less than ordinary New Zealand's sauvignon blanc but its fruitiness was stronger. Good aroma of asparagus. Very strong taste of green lemon and passion fruit. Concentrated acidity, fruitiness and body. (1678 views)
Tasted by Andrew H on 3/1/2014 & rated 88 points: Odd funky smell on opening that dissipated quickly. Fairly standard NZ SB, with grapefruit and hint of pineapple. (1620 views)
Tasted by Deputy on 1/25/2014 & rated 88 points: Pretty typical good NZ Sauv. I doubt I'd be able to tell it from a KC. Maybe a touch deeper...? (1925 views)
Tasted by ccarter5181 on 1/19/2014 & rated 90 points: Grapefruit and grassy gooseberry on the nose and palate. Elegant, good fruit intensity and good acid balance. Great overall and a good value. (1796 views)
Tasted by _water.into.wine_ on 1/15/2014 & rated 90 points: Incredibly pale with tiny bubbles. Very intense nose of fruits and green pepper. Lovely in the mouth, smooth, and little acid. Good QPR (1886 views)
Tasted by juffer on 1/10/2014 & rated 91 points: I served this in my wine class. Very distinctive green pepper nose along with the usual grassy gooseberry. Perfect as an example of the Marlborough style. Better than most, and a good value. (1773 views)

Tasted by jnewman77 on 10/5/2013: Green bell pepper notes pretty much overwhelm everything else in this wine. Not that enjoyable. Which is surprising given that I've had some lovely Dog Points in the past. (2186 views)
Tasted by Double-A on 10/1/2013 & rated 90 points: Herbal, peppery, grapefruit and guava nose. Assertive but balanced, supple fruit flavours with fresh acidity; long, smoky, savoury finish. 4/5 (795 views)
Tasted by drdecanto on 9/29/2013 & rated 79 points: Yikes! What happened to this wine? 3 months ago I thought this had grapefruit notes. Now this has as much acid as grapefruit juice. Screaming acidity! If you have this, it's time to pop one and see if your bottle is like this one. I've always liked Dog Point, so I don't know what has happened. (2273 views)
Tasted by Vinnut on 9/26/2013 & rated 89 points: Pale, almost clear in color. Forward and attractive nose of grassy & gooseberries overtones, citrus notes of lemons/limes & grapefruit and a hint of minerals in the background. Medium-light to light bodied of ripe yet tangy fruit flavors of citrus of lemons/limes & white grapefruit, some lychee & green apples and some minerals. Good balance. Sharp acidity in the lingering finish. (2143 views)
