Tasted by LiteItOnFire on 1/13/2024 & rated 94 points: Can’t put it any better than CSIMM. Just delicious and frankly can’t get enough. Only one bottle remains. So good! (1161 views)
Tasted by csimm on 11/16/2023 & rated 95 points: An outstanding Rose, and one that perfectly marries smooth strawberry and cream goodness with a nice cut of orange rind, white rock, and lemon pith flavors. This is in a perfect place right now, and one of those Champagnes you could just hang out with in your little corner and be happy chillin on the couch alone for the rest of the night. This Dom just has that relaxing, cuddly quality could be a contemplative geek-out Champagne just as much as a lounge around the house nibbling on caviar and smoked salmon type of dealio. Much less of the brioche and biscuity profile here, as is often the case with other Doms. (1726 views)
Tasted by jlgnml on 9/20/2023 & rated 92 points: Nice soft salmon color. Good flavor. Maybe more time in the btl? (990 views)
Tasted by LiteItOnFire on 8/13/2023 & rated 94 points: First pull from the lineup, no notes only impressions, and the most ready for showtime. This is in a perfect place- pure luxurious goodness right from the attack diving into the deep end of creamy goodness- Like an adult strawberries and cream liquid rose gold unsweetened soda. Just fantastic. (1816 views)
Tasted by Margaux Bro on 6/19/2023 & rated 96 points: Absolutely spectacular- had alongside ‘12 salon, and the Dom bested the Salon this time. Amazing with food too, drink now. (1368 views)
Tasted by VinVet on 4/28/2023 & rated 92 points: Subtle mineral and strawberry nose. Gentle mousse with nothing that sticks out on the palate. Mouth watering and cleansing with a short finish. Hard to describe it as outstanding but very enjoyable nonetheless. (1195 views)
Tasted by hprphf on 3/3/2023 & rated 93 points: Red-fruited, balanced sweetness, vanilla hue, creamy, quite big. 93-94 (1448 views)
Tasted by mflesh on 12/25/2022 & rated 96 points: Popped my DP Rosé cherry here on this wine. Although I tend to prefer DP over Krug, I think I favor Krug Rosé over DP Rosé. But, kind of in a way you're talking about one huge rockstar over another huge rockstar so it's really a win-win either way. What a delicious Champagne. Incredibly balanced steely and mineral dense red fruits...wild strawberry sorbet, pomegranate, tart bing cherry, and herbal white pepper small bubble finish. Would have put the entire bottle bottoms up with a huge bowl of strawberries Romanoff. Really neat experience. (1702 views)

Tasted by tcosgriff on 3/21/2022 & rated 95 points: Lovely salmon color with very nice lingering bubble. Very much dominated by red fruit making it somewhat Burgundy like. Wonderful balance and depth with a long finish. This is a wow wine. Second bottle ditto. (2428 views)
Tasted by edwine__ on 3/12/2022 & rated 85 points: Very Dom perignon with the characters of stone fruit, autolytic and toasty. Maybe due to poor storage, it’s lack of fruity and sweetness.
Hope i can try a perfect bottle later. (1957 views)
Tasted by M_T on 7/25/2021: Ray Vara (3170 views)
Tasted by Burgundy Al on 7/14/2021 & rated 92 points: Bastille Day Celebration with Lots of Champagne Rosé (Park Ridge Country Club): Small glass, brief note. Very fleshy and also ripe with berry and cherry on nose and palate. Bright textures, particularly on finish. Slightly less concentration vs the better vintages tonight. (3532 views)
Tasted by Nanda on 5/26/2021: Deliciously rich and full bodied. Bursts with toasty red berries and a highly energetic bead. In a peak window with freshness and primary fruit. (2926 views)
Tasted by UFGators on 4/8/2021 & rated 92 points: Takes some time to open in the glass. This is no doubt a great effort but not a show stopper. You pay a premium for the name I feel but it’s worth drinking at least one bottle to see what it is all about. (2635 views)
Tasted by Vino Monkeys on 3/27/2021 & rated 97 points: Near perfection. Pink salmon color, ultra thick, fine mouse. Aromas of fresh stone fruit, mineral, brioche. Super fresh with years left! Perfectly balanced, high acidity. Super long, minute plus finish. A true pleasure. I’m usually less attracted to the roses, but this is a home run! (2620 views)
Tasted by Sean Tay on 3/6/2021 & rated 95 points: Pink salmon in colour. Rose, cherry on the nose. Refreshing and smooth on palate. A delight during hot summer. (1934 views)
Tasted by FoinZap on 12/24/2020 & rated 94 points: Aperol spritz color. Miniscule, yet relentless bubbles. Nose features Orange Creamsicle, sweet berry jam. Palate is strawberry, crushed rock, orange peel, hint of unripe blackberry. Creamy, but light mouthfeel. Finish with a slightly bitter, but not unpleasant grip. (2050 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 12/24/2020 & rated 95 points: Medium Negroni colour; rich nose, red berries, stone fruits, orange peel, oyster shell, autolytic depth; rich and toasty palate, full bodied and opulent, quite Burgundian even, but with marvellous acidity and minerally energy, creamy mousse; long and convincing finish. Not quite the finesse of the Dom Ruinart Rosé 2002 tasted this summer, but the power and weight of the 2005 vintage seem to suit the DPR better than the DP. I am not sure whether this is 94 or 95 points, but since it's Christmas Eve... (2686 views)
Tasted by jhngo on 10/18/2020 & rated 95 points: Bright red fruited. (2180 views)
Tasted by beezer6 on 9/1/2020 & rated 93 points: Jordan brought to Danny A's.
So enjoyable and very unique in styling.
Savory red fruit on the nose as well as under ripe nectarines and some nutty qualities.
Palate was laced with acid and finished clean and long. (2307 views)
Tasted by the player on 8/4/2020 & rated 92 points: Salmon pink color showing evolution, tiny bubbles. On the nose some strawberries, pink grapefruits and rocks, minerality on the palate and a decent finish. Pales in comparison to the 96 and 02s. Next to try is the 06 to put the 05s in context. (2191 views)
Tasted by LiteItOnFire on 7/13/2020 & rated 95 points: JB FH new home closing.

Agree with Jammy below but without the bitterness (none detected as that is a big turnoff for me) and a heavy dose of red berries (strawberries, raspberries), maybe even a hint of apricot with a wonderful lite mineral spine (very lite just enough to feel it but in no way heavy (maybe too little for some but it was perfect for my palate). The 15 years have allowed it to become a bit more well rounded but still fresh (not like the current 2008 zingers but still there). Love this champagne although not sure how long this will last it is killer right now to the point the two husbands tried to distract our wives to finish the last sips from their glass :)

Drank over 45 minutes in a grassl liberte (white wine) glass.

for context, My presence for champagne, if this helps any is Krug, P2, this or much more agend champagnes vs super acidic newer releases (said differently the 2008 Dom, Cristals are a bit too linear today but should soften and broaden with time and then will be more towards my palate.

Hope that helps with context. (3087 views)
Tasted by KeithAkers on 5/23/2020 & rated 92 points: The grand finale for my 40th birthday celebration (Adam's, Logan Square, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is perfumed and elegant with red berries, strawberries, yellow flowers, citrus, biscuits, crackers, and some smokey notes. There is good depth here, but it lacks some of the elegance that Dom Rose can normally show.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with tart, high acidity. The acidity has a little bit of sting to it, but the feel is gorgeous and balanced with red berries, strawberries, citrus notes, biscuits, crackers, and smoke notes.

Overall: This is a lovely Rose champagne. It's well balanced and has good complexity, but it's not on the level of most Dom Rose vintages. It doesn't have the depth and full levels of elegance and the acidity is a bit out of balance. Still, it's very good and is likely in its prime drinking window right now. (2079 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
