This wine started more austere and spicy than I remember with Relentless , very N. Rhone-esq. With air, there appeared earthy and savory flavors with some black fruit notes, which is a distinct departure from the glut of riper style new world Rhone varietals bursting with fresh blackberry notes I have had recently.
