Tasted by dansamsoe on 5/19/2019: Pretty good. Drinking perfectly now. (1031 views)
Tasted by dansamsoe on 1/29/2017 flawed bottle: corked (1911 views)
Tasted by cct on 3/16/2016 & rated 90 points: My last of 8 half bottles. A bright and clean stony nose with white floral notes and pithy citrus. Round but not fat, with orchard fruit adding to the citrus and lacking the fantastic tension of previous bottles. It has morphed into a rounder more mature wine that still has balance. Richer now but still with good cut and a sense of chalkiness and good acidity that leave the mouth watering. Pure, clean, and still very refreshing. my stash of half bottles of this were a great pleasure. Sad to see the last one empty. Lovely. 90 (2495 views)
Tasted by dansamsoe on 2/17/2016 flawed bottle: Sligthly corked. (2265 views)
Tasted by Battersea James on 12/25/2015 & rated 90 points: Pure fruit with a lovely lingering finish. Great balance and overall a fantastic wine that is excellent value for money. (2386 views)
Tasted by sfqwino on 4/24/2015 & rated 90 points: Pure and clean with good acidic backbone. Previous notes described it well. Good nose. The palate was rather tight and needed some air to catch up. Overall a well made wine that is delicious now. Sad to see my last bottle go. (2023 views)
Tasted by finewinebuff57 on 7/26/2014 & rated 90 points: This show's that the excellent 2010's are beginning to come into their own - clean, pure and elegant. Structure and acidity too, but it is not intrusive. (1674 views)
Tasted by cct on 1/14/2014 & rated 91 points: I can;t add much to Jeremy's note, but to say that I am rapidly also polishing off a bunch of the half blles at an astonishing rate, and all have delivered great pleasure. Punches well above its weight. Lovely (1812 views)
Tasted by decaturwinedude on 11/12/2013 & rated 90 points: Crisp, cool, clean. Green apple and edgy acidity. Lively. Pure. Drinkable. A real pleasure. (1844 views)
Tasted by Outplaying on 9/11/2013: Similar impressions as the others. Lots of minerality here with wet stones, slight flint and salted popcorn. Some tart green apple, lime and crisp acidity. Liked it a lot and was disappointed that we only had a 375. (1740 views)
Tasted by jrobs7777 on 5/22/2013: Wines of Hubert Lamy (Bistro 7 (7 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia)): Nice clean minerality. Good acidity. Very pale color. Solid acidity. Crisp orchard fruit. Nice value. (1846 views)
Tasted by Rezy13 on 3/23/2013: Steely green; much more subtle nose than the Frionnes, hint of nuttiness, green vegetal note with fresh apple- golden delicious, and lime pulp with no noticeable oak (maybe this was in the 500L barrels); fresh, medium power, lemon water, rocks, simpler than the Frionnes but delicious none the less. (1401 views)
Tasted by gilrbo on 3/15/2013: Very pale straw yellow.
Nose is quite dry and mineral, with flint and pear notes. Elegant and beguiling.
Palate: dry and tense, lots of acidity, lemony and mineral. Great lightness and energy at the same time. Excellent St. Aubin!

Tasted by oeivind on 3/14/2013 & rated 91 points: PnP. Initial flinty and mineral notes, after some time in the glass notes of smoke appear. High acidity, tight initially but puts on weight in the glass an becomes absolutely well balanced and enjoyable. Would buy more (1310 views)
Tasted by Jeremy Holmes on 1/29/2013: The nose is really flinty with some white flower notes and a little white peach. It is sappy and chalky on the gums. Has a touch of aniseed mixing it up with citrus fruit flavours and has good line. A box of hand grenades of this little beaut may not make it to the end of summer. (1299 views)
Tasted by G.M. on 9/18/2012 & rated 92 points: Kumeu River Masterclass (PWS Melbourne): White flower and lemon nose. Steely, mineral flintiness and fresh acid on the palate. A reasonably interesting wine. Probably a bit young at this stage. (1793 views)
Tasted by .M. on 4/17/2012 & rated 88 points: Syrlig, stram, lett og elegant med helhetlig kropp. Lett eikepreg som blir mindre markant med luft. Antydning til fedme i kroppen. Ung, litt glatt, men potensiale til modning. (1623 views)
Tasted by -E- on 4/13/2012 & rated 87 points: Mild sitrus nese med hint av eik. Stram frukt med lett fedme og spiss syre. Fin avslutning med mineralske aromaer. 87-88 P. (1407 views)
Tasted by lepetitchateau on 3/21/2012 & rated 89 points: Clean, pure, elegant, sweet and lovely right now. The finish is a tad short but given the wine's quality, it is good value. (1302 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
