My first contact with Fiano grape variety.
Straw yellow with amber hues.
When poured into the glasses I could feel the high level of acidity.
Ripe melon, peaches, iron, burnt sugar and chalk, both on the nose and palate.
Persistent aftertaste. Can be enjoyed for the next two years.

The appearance is light golden or mid-colour straw. The nose is very light. The taste is spicy almost; it is dry, with minerality present. The finish is medium in length, and spicy. Liked the Greco better. This one was more floral and it followed through on the palate, which I don't care for the taste of flowers!! Minerality adds for complexity, and the palate is a bit richer, but with too soft acidity making it flabby. This one falls short from some of the other whites tasted tonight.
