Early side of prime drinking for me- notes of latex rubber, kefir lime leaves, wet stone, and citrus oils, unripe quince. Densely packed and not forthcoming in the nose. In the mouth, wine is lighter bodied, bright fruit acid almost aggressive. On the attack, I get citrus, petrol, tangy melon rind, fresh green apple juice, and some dank marijuana retronasal. This really seems to be still a baby. Wonderful with some milk braised pork. Clear, pale golden color. Clean nose, open. Dry. Ripe yellow fruit with fine rock flour and zests. Nice tension, good length. On the palate very round and supple, dry but with a touch of sweetness, medium+ body. Finishes long with precise acidity and a trace of salty minerality, adding a good edge to the hedonistic richness of this wine. Some more years left to go, but why wait? I think, this wine is right on the spot now. The wine benefited from moderate aeration. It drank well at its current stage and did not show signs of going down soon either, so no need to hurry.
