Tasted by Philip67 on 5/14/2022 & rated 93 points: Verdicchio. Unctuous. Rich mouth filling flavours, combination of savoury, herbal, rich Amalfi lemon. Tertiary tang on the finish. Long and intense, complex. Drink now, will go on for a few more years. (418 views)
Tasted by mauropallido on 5/23/2021 & rated 92 points: Davvero un ottimo vino, invecchiato pure molto bene.
Vino bianco che sa reggere il tempo molto bene. (498 views)
Tasted by peternelson on 4/24/2017 & rated 86 points: Very disappointing--slightly oxidized, medium body, no real character here. Let it breath, tried to see if it would come around but no. Wanted a high end verdicchio, but this has been improperly stored, or is just too old. (1827 views)
Tasted by portman63 on 3/31/2016 & rated 92 points: This is one of the better QPA Italian whites I have had. Tons of minerality, but with white fruit and great acid structure. Not like the lip-smacking young ones, but closer to a mature Alsace or Loire sauvignon blanc in mouthfeel. Will hold for several more years I think. (2163 views)
Tasted by ex-sommelier on 2/18/2016 & rated 90 points: 1.5years since last bottle, It was pretty austere then, and the acidity has since evened out considerably, with citrus pith, sea foam, and flint wrapped in a pretty lush texture.

I was hoping some more complexity would develop with the extra time in the bottle, but no such luck. Maybe it was just a dull vintage. The wine certain held up to age structurally, and it has classic verdicchio typicity. (2331 views)
Tasted by Matt Neel on 3/14/2015: Dinner with good friends at I Trulli (I Trulli, Flatiron, NYC): Deep straw. The nose is lemon meringue pie served on a steel plate; fabulous and perfect. The palate is the same, piercing acidity, lovely, lean lemony fruit. Nice length. Delicious wine. (3805 views)
Tasted by ex-sommelier on 9/1/2014 & rated 88 points: Tried the 07 last year and was blown away. This 08 was less enthralling but also might really benefit from another year or two in the bottle. On opening the fruit was muted and acidity disjointed, just didn't feel very well knit.
Full bodied, with nice typical saline quality of Le Marche whites, powerful acidity, little oak influence.

After an hour or so the delicate white peach and lychee fruits emerged, and on day 2 the wine was a more unified experience. Lemon curd and white flowers as it warmed up. 88 now, but I think could really be exceptional in 2 years. Decant out of the fridge for an hour. Do not serve ice cold. (2806 views)
Tasted by THECORKDORK on 8/2/2014 & rated 91 points: Rich and floral. Lots of lemon zest, orchid, almond character. Very well made. (1766 views)
Tasted by torciaumana on 7/23/2013 & rated 92 points: Da magnum, vino di una gioventù imbarazzante, da bere tra 10 anni (1964 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 2/4/2012 & rated 91 points: 2012 - 8th Annual The Golden Glass: Slow Food Wine & Food Tasting Event (Herbst Pavillion, Fort Mason, San Francisco, California): Light yellow color; focused, tart pear nose; tart pear, tart apple, mineral palate; medium-plus finish (2120 views)
Tasted by Loli on 5/28/2010 & rated 89 points: Almost golden colour. On the nose honey and a cool, nice floral bouquet . The wine is dry with a good acid structure and a very fruity taste with apricot, honey melon, pineapple, green apple. Paired well with gravlax and sweet rye bread! (2711 views)
