Tasted by AnytimeWineTime on 8/19/2018 & rated 89 points: A great Sav Blanc at a great price. First time trying the Bogle white wine product. I've always found their red wines to be very good and well accepted by the common wine drinker. As usual Bogle delivers a good product at a great price. If you are looking for a great every day type of wine this is a good white to go with. If you can catch it when on sale... even better. (843 views)
Tasted by Levineja on 5/12/2018 & rated 83 points: Not too sweet. Nice when really cold. (896 views)
Tasted by hoservin on 2/5/2018 & rated 87 points: Ripe honeydew melon, peach, lemon and lime. Finishes soft and dry. Served with pan seared scallops. (864 views)
Tasted by mrooney on 10/6/2017 & rated 70 points: nose: typical medium sauvignon blanc fruit; palette: medium fruit, lightly green with an oaky lightly acidic lingering finish (1014 views)
Tasted by vincent g. on 4/23/2017 & rated 92 points: Finally out with the new vintage, and it's tasting fresh and wonderful! (1097 views)

Varietal Character

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
