Tasted by air guitar & pinot noir on 5/2/2023 & rated 93 points: I always enjoy some Rocket Science. Bursting with purple and black fruit and potpourri spice notes. Not heavy or cloying but medium bodied with rich, ripe flavors permeating the glass. Expressive and high on the flavor scale. Fun to drink and enjoy. Great nose and a lasting finish. (568 views)
Tasted by jimyeni on 4/13/2023 & rated 90 points: Host at the winery wasn’t certain of the blend. Ok. Sharper and lighter than a cab. (669 views)
Tasted by mactheknife on 3/26/2023 & rated 92 points: this is really good; balanced, medium weight, and delicious. (562 views)
Tasted by air guitar & pinot noir on 1/17/2023 & rated 92 points: As winter settles in to Chicagoland my wife’s palate has shifted to desiring something a bit more robust and with greater depth. This fit the bill with a delightful melange of fruit, spice and flavor. I have an affinity for Rocket Science- the wine, not the occupation. This is a great drinker on its own or accompanying food. The perfect warmer for a cold night. (642 views)
Tasted by mdh az on 12/7/2022 & rated 93 points: Long time fan of Rocket Science and this was one of the best. Flavorful from the start, getting better the longer we waited. Lots of dark fruit that simply mellows as the wine opened up. Bottle is too small. :,) (671 views)
Tasted by barbisue on 9/30/2022: Delicious with gruyere on sourdough & gris salt crackers (411 views)
Tasted by air guitar & pinot noir on 6/10/2022 & rated 92 points: One of my favorite red blends. Beyond the funky bottle and clever design there is good juice within. This one was a bit reticent initially but opened up with some patience and time in the glass. Flavorful red fruit with deft oak application. Black fruit expands on the palate with underlying spice and potpourri notes. Nice weight and balance. Very enjoyable. (539 views)
Tasted by Applewine on 5/5/2022 & rated 92 points: Very nice blend. Good nose. Opened up after an hour or so. (452 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
