Tasted by richspasc on 2/14/2016 & rated 70 points: Great as a dare wine. (4429 views)
Tasted by davewr on 11/11/2013 & rated 70 points: Not a wine to "age". Tasted like bad raspberry cough syrup. (4851 views)
Tasted by gripNsip on 3/8/2013: It sort of tastes like a white russian. Put it over ice. The dude abides. (5845 views)
Tasted by Rpbusby on 2/20/2013 & rated 82 points: I was very surprised by this "wine." I got it as a stocking stuffer and didn't think much of it at the time. However, I'm willing to give anything at least a taste before I toss it out, and this unexpectedly came off as a rather pleasant dessert.

Nose is very much like Irish cream liqueur. I could not really detect any attributes from the wine portion initially, but towards the end of the glass slight aromas of cherry did come through over the chocolate.

It has a thinner viscosity than Irish cream, which is enough to enjoy an entire glass after dinner. Any more than a glass in one sitting, though, is a bit much.

Taste has some hints of berry, which only opened up after the glass was allowed to sit out and warm a bit. I opened the bottle at 53F, and finished tasting at just a hair below room temperature.

There is nothing terribly sophisticated about it; the tasting notes are very simple and slight yet they seem to compliment the chocolate cream well. This might be a favorable alternative to the more common chocolate liqueurs out there, whether used as a standalone drink or integrated into a cooking recipe. (5699 views)
Tasted by VinoSpartyBob on 12/25/2012 & rated 80 points: Excellent w/ chocolate molten lava cake! (5835 views)
Tasted by Youngish on 11/23/2012 & rated 80 points: Tastes very close to Irish Cream. No distinct wine flavor. Was prepared for it to be undrinkable, but was pleasantly surprised. Tastes it well chilled, on the rocks. (3306 views)
Tasted by corkscrews on 5/9/2012 & rated 87 points: A nose of cocoa liquor, looks like Nesquick. A delicious concoction of chocolate and red wine that somehow really works, great over ice, kinda like Bailey’s but lighter. Must drink well chilled to enjoy. (3545 views)
Tasted by gimonca on 4/29/2012 & rated 73 points: Given to me as a gift. In a sarcastic mood, I thought I'd search for it on Cellartracker, and here it is.

Before opening, I had expected that this would be unspeakably vile. The label says the primary ingredient is "grape wine"--good to know, grape and not turnip or nettle or something--followed by cream, artificial flavors and colors, etc. There is no indication that there is any actual chocolate or natural chocolate flavor in this.

That said, it does taste like an off brand "Irish Cream" liqueur, with some generic fruit flavor added, possibly cherry. The actual cream in the formulation is probably what prevents it from being offensive sludge, the general experience is smooth and, yes, creamy. Surprisingly, it was not too cloyingly sweet. It could have been worse--it exceeded expectations by being drinkable, comparable to alco-pops and cheap recreational drinks you find in U.S. liquor stores. The worst part is the labelling, which besides being a little embarassingly tacky, tries to mention both chocolate and wine when the product offers nothing to anyone who cares about chocolate, or wine.  Tasted by sammy on 1/23/2012 & rated 80 points: Tastes like Baily's with a splash of red wine. (3659 views)
Tasted by Killiansc34 on 10/22/2011 & rated 84 points: Very sweet. Almost like a cordial (4710 views)
Tasted by Killiansc34 on 10/9/2011 & rated 81 points: Strong cordial. Like baileys (4204 views)
Tasted by elsinc89 on 10/3/2011 & rated 69 points: Very strong alcoholic after taste. Tastes like chocolate until the end when the after taste bits you and kills all. Needs something... (4300 views)
Tasted by annerk on 4/16/2011 & rated 60 points: Anne got this for me as a joke. I figured I should try it before it turned into straight Yoo-Hoo. I was expecting a chocolate flavored wine. WRONG. The nose has a bit of chocolate but, primarily it's a mixed drink. The texture is creamy and smooth with serious alcohol after bite/taste. The best way to describe this is spiked Yoo-Hoo. I have yet to taste or smell wine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 points is that it actually would make a decent mixed drink. It's actually similar to Bailey's but not wine... (5402 views)
Tasted by Wine Concert Guy on 1/27/2011: this was ChocoVine Raspberry; it was good but not as good as the regular one; would be great with a chocolate raspberry dessert though (5643 views)
Tasted by sushihome on 11/25/2010 & rated 85 points: Interesting novelty wine. An appealing combination of chocolate and red wine. A fruity Bailey's. (5801 views)
Tasted by Kmaysmith on 8/21/2010 & rated 91 points: Chocolate (6026 views)
Tasted by mjlenox on 8/1/2010 & rated 70 points: Way too sweet. Tastes more like sugar than chocolate, and no taste of wine whatsoever. (6044 views)
Tasted by Chowdi on 7/4/2010 & rated 99 points: I've had Bailey's and chocolate tequila and this is definitely smoother than both but with a little bit of a kick at the end. If you didn't know it was wine, you'd swear it was just chocolate alcohol. Not complex at all, but very delicious if you want an after dinner drink with your dessert. Can't believe I stumbled across it at 7-11 in Las Vegas. Hoping that it will soon be exported to Canada. (6361 views)
Tasted by Younces on 6/30/2010 & rated 89 points: Mudslide with red wine; great with dark chocolate (6261 views)
Tasted by ruffem on 6/17/2010 & rated 87 points: Just as good as Bailey's, and far cheaper. (5998 views)
Tasted by chrwhite on 5/23/2010 & rated 87 points: Hard to give this a traditional rating. It has a flavor profile similar to Bailey's, and doesn't really have anything on the nose beyond chocolate. I think it's delicious, but it's pretty one dimensional. As a fan of dessert wines I appreciate the different flavors and complexities you find there, but this was pretty much chocolate in a glass. Nothing wrong with that, and it tastes good, but it's hard to consider this wine. (5947 views)
Tasted by ckeilah on 2/6/2010 & rated 84 points: Tastes like good chocolate milk with alcohol. Hard to believe but very drinkable as a dessert. Wouldn't call it wine though. (6269 views)
Tasted by WineGym on 2/3/2010 & rated 88 points: We drank it like a cordial. (Too sweet for a normal wine glass) Very nice as an after dinner desert companion. (6486 views)
Tasted by sailincarib on 2/1/2010 & rated 50 points: Absolutely terrible. WAY to sweet. (6384 views)
