Tasted by Aprovost15 on 2/17/2024: Good (270 views)
Tasted by OldHick95 on 1/20/2024 & rated 93 points: Lots to like with smooth yeastiness under favors of golden delicious apples, lemon juice, and baked pineapple. It is balanced with a nicely tart, tangy finish and lingering baked apple notes. (371 views)
Tasted by BenitoBlanco_ on 11/23/2023 & rated 93 points: Sourdough bread, honey, lemon custard. Still good acid and solid carb but this is definitely melding as you'd like. Probably has 5 years left at least but drinking fantastically now also. Man this is good. If anyone argues quality of US bubbly, show them this. (444 views)
Tasted by yonster24 on 9/19/2023: Absolutely gorgeous. nutty, brioche, some honey and apple on the nose. Full bodied yet lively on the palate leading to a wonderful finish with great acidity to back everything up. So good. (762 views)
Tasted by ashishnag on 4/21/2023 & rated 95 points: Honey, bready, yeasty, with a deep nose and a long long finish. Fantastic wine with. Lot of acid left. Could go easily 5-10 more years + but I wouldn’t be mad if you drank now. (1116 views)
Tasted by RickSanchez on 3/3/2023 & rated 95 points: Delicious. Drank as an aperitif to a great night. Fun and complex aromas of apple pie, mango tart, some butterscotch, vanilla carmel, and candied nuts. Rich and smooth. (1115 views)
Tasted by Farnelicous on 12/16/2022 & rated 95 points: Absolutely delicious! Golden, clear color. Aromas and taste of apple, nuts - almond, honey, and crème brulee. Very long finish.
The late disgorged means it undergoes a second fermentation in bottle, then aged for over 10 years on its yeast lees. Made like Dom P2; this - to me - is even better as its a blanc de blanc. 100% Chardonnay; 12.5% alcohol. Had with lobster bisque - great pairing. Would be great by itself. (1454 views)

complexity. Extensive aging “en tirage” en- ables savory, nutty and seasoned attributes to evolve with fruitful caramelization, density and creaminess on the palate.”

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
