The wine however picked up and actually showed quite a bit of body. Black plum and currant, leather, tobacco. This bottle was clearly in advanced decline.

Parker gave this wine a very bad score, that was maybe the main reason why the bottle was so cheap (less than 20 $). For me it was a good wine. Not a stunner but very enjoyable. And it was an eye-opener in regards to critic's opinions. (665 views) |
