Tasted by rocknroller on 6/27/2018 & rated 91 points: It's Greek to Me & A Bunch of Whites (It's Greek to Me, Mpls): Light greenish color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. A blend of 35% Marsanne, 34% Roussanne, and 31% Viognier, you really get the sense of Viognier coming through and it adds a great deal of complexity and depth. Peach, apple, white flowers on the nose with just a subtle note of more tropical pineapple. The palate has a fuller body with a juicy attractive stone fruits, peach, and green apple, crisp acid and some flinty minerality as this finishes. 91 to 91+pts. (2791 views)
Tasted by Brent25 on 4/30/2018 & rated 91 points: Clear medium gold; clean medium plus nose of brioche, toast, lemon and peach blossom; pfn but better with addition of pith; dry; medium plus body; medium plus acidity; medium plus/long finish; elegant, rich wine that paired well with our starters (2293 views)
Tasted by wine4lux on 11/23/2017 & rated 88 points: Had with Thanksgiving dinner; paired reasonably well with a wide variety of dishes. No single feature stands out; more mineral in nature than fruit forward; decent level of acidity. Richness, solid acidity and mineral notes make a good food wine; didn't find compelling without food. (2528 views)
Tasted by Tmorgan2885 on 4/28/2017 & rated 83 points: A not soo grapefruit Sauvignon Blanc in flavor. It's a nice light wine with lemon peel and hint of grapefruit. Crisp and dry. Not crazy about it but I can certainly appreciate its character. (3081 views)
Tasted by Twopawsup on 2/27/2017 & rated 90 points: Greenish gold colored and slow legs.. Aromas of lemon, pear, banana and honeysuckle. Hot on the palate with hints of grapefruit and apple. Full bodied for a white with long acidic finish. (2921 views)
Tasted by walkerjfw on 2/16/2016 & rated 88 points: Opening night dinner for PNV Week at Inglenook, first experience with this wine. First wine/aperitif with salads...

Nicely balanced, crisp and clean palate. Orchard fruits, pears. Some sweetness on the mid palate, white flowers. Weight and mouthfeel more like a white Bdx than a Rhone white. (1746 views)
Tasted by VDP2000 on 4/9/2015 & rated 92 points: Viognier showing through. Well balanced with peach and pear fruit on the nose. Great minerality and finish. Consumed with a poultry dinner. (1779 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 4/7/2015 & rated 88 points: A private tasting (The John Daniel Cellar, Inglenook Estate Winery, Rutherford, California, USA): Crisp acidity, fresh style, non malo, clean, pure and energetic but only moderate typicity, floral note, good length. (2053 views)

White Rhone Blend

A white wine containing two or more Rhône varieties, including: Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
