Tasted by buckeye76 on 2/23/2024 & rated 94 points: Deep golden color. Lots of citrus in the nose with peaches and floral with notes of minerality. Citrus, peaches and pears in the flavor. This is a rich, complex medium to full bodied Viognier, well balanced and a long finish. Drinking very well right now. 93/94 (99 views)
Tasted by ogres3 on 7/29/2020 & rated 91 points: The missus enjoyed. I don't understand this style of white wines. (1031 views)
Tasted by Mr T on 9/25/2018: excellent and crisp (1860 views)
Tasted by Ridgerunner on 9/2/2018 & rated 91 points: Subtle American Viognier (1628 views)
Tasted by grafighter on 8/17/2018 & rated 91 points: PnP. Light fruit Viognier. Nice aromatics. Great with food. A slight variations between the 2 bottles we opened and drank. (1753 views)
Tasted by LikeABC on 3/23/2018: my favorite Alban viognier to date (1977 views)
Tasted by seijaro on 1/20/2018 & rated 94 points: Another bottle, a lovely Viognier... mild and a bit light, but very classy and a pleasure to drink. (1176 views)
Tasted by WineArchitect on 12/29/2017 & rated 93 points: Pnp from the cellar. Golden yellow color with light tartaric acid crystals. As always, the aromatics of honeysuckle and orange zest jump out of the glass to your nose. The flavors all match as this wine leaves a very memorable sensation of terroir and exotic flavors behind. I can’t get enough of this wine! EG #ArchitecturalArtistry #WineArchitect (831 views)
Tasted by seijaro on 4/7/2017 & rated 93 points: A medium weight Viognier, pure and clean... fun to drink even if it's not La Doriane Condrieu :) (1334 views)

Viogner is wrong wine

This is nonsense.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
