Tasted by Cellarseller on 6/4/2022 & rated 89 points: With a little air after opening this is inky dark, cherry cola favors wih limited complexity. Enjoyable quaff at decent value. (472 views)
Tasted by Brett and Megan on 11/13/2021 & rated 88 points: Big and jammy, stone underneath (granite or slate depending on which of the two of us you ask). (617 views)
Tasted by MadisonWIneGuy on 3/22/2021 & rated 90 points: A textbook Aussie Shiraz. Big fruit, mostly blueberry, some herbal tobacco and eucalyptus, and a nice lengthy dry finish. More depth on days 2 and 3 than day 1. 89-90 pts. (952 views)
Tasted by guzmana on 1/13/2020 & rated 92 points: Full and fruity with deep cherry and blackberry notes. Delightful aromas. (1368 views)
Tasted by gkpaoli on 8/24/2019: Juicy, cherries, really enjoyable! (1193 views)
Tasted by Justinneal654 on 7/4/2019 & rated 87 points: Nose was nicely fruited and had a touch of complexity to it, but the body of the wine was rather uniform, sour cherry, some sweet fruit notes, and very little on the Finish to add depth. It opened a little bit over the course of an hour, and paired reasonably well with the pork which was smoked and had a black pepper rub. That being said, I was a bit disappointed. (1336 views)
Tasted by Eatmypixels on 3/6/2019 & rated 88 points: Great value. Age a year. (1367 views)
Tasted by Jobu on 2/1/2019 & rated 92 points: Similar to previous, but the fruit was a bit riper and everything was there right from the open. (1350 views)
Tasted by ephorn on 9/12/2018 & rated 93 points: Dirty sulfite nose, let it blow off for an hour or so. Rich fruit emerges after sulfites blow off and I can get a whiff of the acids too, interesting. Palate rocks with pristine fruit and plenty of cleansing acidity. I wonder if it’s all natural? I like it regardless. Very refined and balanced and very drinkable. Medium minus tannins and better than average length. Could use more complexity but maybe with time. At the top of its class for the price. Drink or hold. (1543 views)
Tasted by Jobu on 9/1/2018 & rated 91 points: Starts out a simple one dimensional fruit forward Shiraz. Really developed an hour after opening. Cherries, blackberries, ripe and juicy. There's a little dark something I can't quite put my finger on, olives maybe? Mild pepper spice on the back end. Might need another year or just really needs to breathe. (1279 views)
Tasted by ChipP68 on 8/7/2018 & rated 90 points: nice nose of berry thick green peppers mid- finish with fruit, pepper. Good value ! (1294 views)
Tasted by sdwineguru on 6/14/2018 & rated 88 points: $16 Barossa '15 Schild Estate Shiraz. Mid ruby; pepper, burnt toast, prune nose; big body and extract; thick; one-dimensional fruit bomb. BBQ, pizza wine. (1494 views)
Tasted by srh on 6/2/2018: Taste Top Wines for June (San Diego Wine Co.): 13,412 cs made [per WS]

N: RIPE, forest floor with a touch of barnyd? Intensity lurking?

P: Med, poss MF, body; Rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt off-set by some puckerish astringency which slowly morphs into a LONG, very slightly tangy finish with a swtness to the dusty tannins with OCCASIONAL notes of bitterness. Deserves/NEEDS 12, maybe 18, mos cellaring, then drinking for 3-4 yrs more. Very nicely done! 14.5% ABV; My EXC-. 92 pts WS, 91 The Wine Front, 89 WE @ $20, & 89 with a Bronze @ '17 Decanter World Wine Awards. [This vendor's $15.99 puts it @ the top of the 2nd 1/2 of wine-searcher's listings.] (1608 views)
Tasted by Gezzanet on 5/22/2018 & rated 90 points: Strong vanilla and strong berry smell. Almost ripe blackberry. No real pepper. Nice deep colour. Taste is very sweet to me. Wonder if too sweet for me. Actually residual berry in the mouth and pleasant. Very drinkable with tannins low after decanting for and hour. Very easy to drink. Would buy more if I can get the 2015. (1162 views)
Tasted by WineDr. on 4/17/2018 & rated 84 points: I have had prior vintages and liked them. This 2015 vintage version got 92 pts from WINE SPECTATOR and 89 pts from WINE ENTHUSIAST, so I thought I would enjoy it as well.

Decanted an hour and then consumed over the next two. Nice color and bouquet, but very disappointing on the palate. Very simple and sharp. Tasted like tart cherries. Maybe it would improve in the next couple of years, but I doubt it would do so significantly. (1219 views)
Tasted by Bradj13 on 4/11/2018 & rated 94 points: Great Shiraz , amazing at the price. (851 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 2/21/2018: Evergreen and cherry fruit, a touch bright, pretty straightforward on the clean simple fruit. (892 views)
Tasted by All Is Whale on 12/21/2017: This the one you give to people who dont wine or who dont alcohol, in general. You know why? Cuz its sah-weet. JUST. SWEET. (844 views)
