| Community Tasting Notes (average 89 pts. and median of 89 pts. in 6 notes) - hiding notes with no text | | Tasted by Joe Kane on 7/20/2018: More citrus and dried earth than standard Sancerre. Tangerine rind, rounder palate. (1135 views) | | Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 7/20/2018: The soil type gives it its name. And still has that cream and red apple skin on the nose. Lively on the palate but not as much crunch as I would like. Softer acid character to it. (1384 views) | | Tasted by JM_MadTown on 7/15/2018 & rated 89 points: This was an interesting Sancerre with its flintiness and minerality. It had some nice fruit as well. (1146 views) | | Tasted by Fruitsrouges on 6/5/2018 & rated 90 points: Drank at around 50 degrees which brought out the flavors and tamed the acids Medium plus intensity lemon, apple pear with grassy overlay Medium plus intensity acidity well balanced with the fruit sugars with nice weight on the palate. Medium alcohol and body. Medium plus intensity finish. Very good wine, drink well now. (1255 views) | | Tasted by ve23 on 4/6/2018 & rated 88 points: 88/100
Young Sancerre. Lots of green crunchy and crispy apples, kinda feels as if there was no malo (Larin says there is, I’m not sure).
Acidic and moderately mineral. Not for me. (1190 views) | | Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 8/11/2017: Crisp and clean, lemon fruit, fresh, crunchy fruit, there it is. (985 views) |
