Tasted by Kemo Sabe on 3/10/2024 & rated 91 points: Classic Chablis. Ocean, oysters, iodine, sea shells, lemon twist. Great balance. Moderate complexity. Moderate depth. Very well made but just a notch behind Dauvissat and Rav. (288 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 7/9/2023 & rated 92 points: This was excellent. Pretty light color and lots of Chablis tension. You can taste the old oak barrels but was more Chablis than “Dauvissat” (646 views)
Tasted by LT98 on 11/9/2022 & rated 88 points: Extremely mineral driven - chalky salinity notes overshadowed the fruit. (946 views)
Tasted by Misterobit on 10/29/2022: Had a fizzy candy style thar surprised me. Not that much acidity and not really in balance. Hope a few more year will help. (868 views)
Tasted by LT98 on 9/21/2022 & rated 89 points: A bit out of balance. Tannic and more oaky than I would expect. I would like to re-evaluate in a few years. (927 views)
Tasted by Tejassathian on 9/19/2022 & rated 92 points: Drank really nicely - delicate, aromatic, with a nice Dauvissat like textural richness to its profile. But also not quite as acidic as I would have expected. (933 views)
Tasted by vinkeger on 9/2/2022 flawed bottle: Ekstremt korket. (981 views)
Tasted by acyso on 5/19/2022 & rated 88 points: Thursday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): A bit awkward and gangly right now, with oddly sweet, almost confectionary fruit on the attack. Lacks the acidity and kick that I would expect from Chablis, this drinks a little simplistic on the palate. Probably more interesting with a few more years, but then again, given the relationship to Dauvissat, I probably wasn't really going to like it that much anyway. (1693 views)
Tasted by Vas19 on 5/3/2022: Seems like a bit of an awkward spot, I'd give this a few years (981 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 5/2/2022 & rated 90 points: Wines with friends (Washington, DC): Love the zestiness and cut here, lemons and green apples, plenty of chalk dust and limestone. Lots of fun. (992 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 4/3/2022 & rated 92 points: This was really good seems to have found it’s balance and drinking well. Shows 2017 well with a combination of intensity and backbone of acidity (838 views)
Tasted by WoodieBayArea on 4/17/2021: late in the evening, so no rating, but this was really really nice... good chablis typicity but with just a hint of (what tasted like) residual sugar to balance the acidity... my sis-in-law -- who finds my favorite wines a tad angular / tart -- liked it a lot, and so did me and T (we both like the lifted / acidic white burgs)... crowd pleaser and easy to drink (1693 views)
Tasted by rlove on 4/2/2021 & rated 91 points: Laurent Tribut's 2017 Beauroy is an absolutely classic Chablis with lemon, oyster shell, algae, and chalk. Finely structured, good acidic balance. There's a real kinship to Dauvissat here, but Laurent's are accessible today unlike the former's 2017s. (1485 views)
Tasted by cfrances33 on 3/1/2021 & rated 93 points: Served in a JRxRB Universal. Leaf / 1030 hPa

Crystal clear straw yellow. For a such young premier cru Chablis, this is really showing incredibly well. Intensely oceanic nose with clean salt water, kombu, crushed oyster shells, lemon lime and some asian pear. A fantastically expansive palate with creamy brioche, kombu, crimini mushroom, and lemon/lime juice. The acidity is very prominent, but balanced by a lovely creaminess. Long, umami driven finish. I forget how good the Tribut wines can be, and if this is any indication, they knocked 2017 out of the park. A thrilling young Chablis. (1501 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 2/28/2021 & rated 90 points: More open than prior bottles (1333 views)
Tasted by Pknut on 2/10/2021: First bottle from a case that recently arrived, and first time out of bottle since tasting this at Tribut in Chablis in April 2019, when it was resting in steel after some time in oak. Initial notes of lemon and unsweetened pineapple, with nice acidity. The palate shows good purity and a touch of creaminess. This is more cohesive and more relaxed than out of tank at Tribut. No degradation over being open for three nights, each night showing rounder, smoother, the acidity taking a back seat to fleshy white fruits, with notable purity and clarity. Very enjoyable. (1709 views)
Tasted by PC73 on 1/3/2021 & rated 91 points: Debut trying this wine. A bit shy on the nose to start with, but then started showing classic oyster shell, saline and mineral notes.
Crisp and focused on the palate. Mildest hint of sweetness. Approachable, but will benefit from some time in bottle I suspect. Really nice wine and put many white burgundies to shame at this price point I continue to really find a lot of pleasure in Chablis. (1021 views)
Tasted by Jeremy Holmes on 7/11/2020: Absolutely classic Chablis. All oyster shell, sea spray and citrus fruits. It is direct and linear, with intense fruits playing on a bed of chalk. It oozes saline minerality on the finish. (1482 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 5/17/2020 & rated 90 points: Solid but closes down after an hour or so. Give this one time (1245 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 5/15/2020: This definitely check the neutral oak Chablis box but wavers between great and totally closed down. Wait till 2022? (1191 views)
Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 2/11/2020: A very nice and crispy Chablis , I like Beauroy a lot. (1757 views)
Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 1/18/2020: Had this wine twice before, tonight it was different, extremely delicious, with some creamy fruits of exotic types, peach, pineapple on the nose, acid made it fresh and taste was like I prefer it no oak just good balance and wellness. (1583 views)
Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 12/13/2019: The wine was fine , no wood but very muted! (1488 views)
Tasted by NostraBacchus on 8/2/2019 & rated 91 points: From 0.375 bottle. Fine and elegant notes of citrus, flowers, some oysterhell minerality, also some spices. It's medium bodied, but with nice persistence, has medium-high acidity and very good, long and mineral-driven finish. Still you but opening up a little during rhe course of the meal. (1560 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 6/16/2019 & rated 90 points: old-oak aged Chablis favors. Has that good Briney / mineraity combo. Good at open. Great after a few hours. Not that interesting on day 2 (853 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio

Chablis

Chablis (Fédération de Défense de l'Appellation Chablis) | Chablis (Burgundy Wines)

2014 Vintage Notes:
"... a hybrid of 2004/2007 and 2010. The stone, citrus and limestone amalgam is exactly what we search for in Chablis as the style harkens to a day in the Cote de Beaune proper (1960's - 1980's) when wine was not meant to be consumed the week it was released, battonage was not used by all and new oak was rarely seen ... the texture is natural and 'of the vintage' not 'of the winemaker' .... Like Sancerre or the Loire in general, 2014 in Chablis is one of those rare years with extract and transparency. It appears to be a vintage for the "neoclassic" ages and those of us intent on cellaring the most terroir-driven (but still powerful) examples of vineyard, site-place and varietal will want to invest (heavily) in the magnetic and electric 2014's." - Jon Rimmerman

2018 Vintage Notes:
"There’s not that razor sharp Chablis acidity in 2018,” says Patrick Piuze. “But there is good definition of place. The dry conditions drove vines to drink deeper down in the soil profile."
