Tasted by travelme on 10/21/2023 & rated 90 points: Great bottle of dry Rose. Really enjoyed this. I have another 7 bottles and will try to drink these over the next few months. (308 views)
Tasted by YuriyG on 3/10/2022 & rated 91 points: Really enjoyable Rose. Red fruit galore, strawberry jam, but also raspberry notes. Has a nice mineral backbone with some residual sugar present but not really the focus. Very food friendly, including with a blue-cheese wedge salad - never would have guessed that salty-sweet pairing would be so good. Nice QPR. (1006 views)
Tasted by ShellyReams on 10/21/2021: This bottle is fresh and fun. (1263 views)
Tasted by jvphoto on 7/28/2021 & rated 86 points: not much oomph
dry & lean (1468 views)
Tasted by JMacDoyle on 7/24/2021 flawed bottle: Has gone bad- use for spritzers or cooking (1371 views)
Tasted by BigBoy_Sonoma on 7/10/2021 & rated 90 points: Strawberries, lemon, burnt peach. A- (1363 views)
Tasted by Wine on17 on 7/3/2021 & rated 89 points: As in other notes, nice basic summer wine. Just enough acid with some fruit. (816 views)
Tasted by Pipcelot on 4/7/2021 & rated 88 points: Pleasant enough and hefts some good acid. Good value but nothing to get excited about, except maybe the long-neck bottle shape which is the star of the show. That alone makes it worth the $14 price tag from LB. (1242 views)
Tasted by BigChalice on 4/5/2021 & rated 87 points: Beautiful bottle. Basic rose but full bodied and a hint of oily mouth feel. Not as crisp and refreshing as I’d like. (937 views)
Tasted by Steve&Carolyn on 3/17/2021 & rated 88 points: Quite nice, fruity. Very drinkable. (1141 views)
Tasted by KFloveswine on 1/1/2021 & rated 90 points: Light and easy drinking. Good finish but not a complex wine. Great summer wine. (1405 views)
Tasted by tshepard on 12/12/2020 & rated 89 points: Good basic rose. Slightly more fruit. (1302 views)
Tasted by ShellyReams on 11/24/2020: So this seemed typical for other Azur wines I have sampled (less fancy shape to the bottle but that’s no nevermind). Light refreshing and balanced. (1141 views)
Tasted by whitejones on 6/20/2020 & rated 92 points: A great summer wine, well balanced mix of fruit (peaches, mainly, a bit of plum) and acidity. Paired as well with a chicken, pesto and pasta dish as well as it did with shrimp. Excellent PQR. (1996 views)
Tasted by eporres on 6/11/2020 & rated 91 points: Wine of the summer, 2020. Fresh, crisp, and bonkers QPR. (1579 views)
Tasted by studleytrey on 6/6/2020 & rated 90 points: Well this is a cool drink of water, or rosé as it were, on this hot day out in the backyard. Right off the bat, there's an impressive package here in the bottle shape and style—some nice details like the debossed "azur" on the lip and is that cork bleached? It's very light. Classy.

Anyway, light peachy salmon color. Aromas of cantaloupe, peach, white flowers, and wet rocks. Medium (+) body, acid, and finish, with flavors of peach, cantaloupe, lemon, lime, and minerals. I think this is pretty delicious, personally. (1430 views)
Tasted by Sauvyfan on 6/3/2020 & rated 84 points: Unfortunately, I bought 6 bottles. weak nose, bland palate, no finish. I love Fayard's Cabs, but this Rose is just lacking. (1423 views)
Tasted by aguydrinker on 6/2/2020 & rated 85 points: As advertised, dry and refreshing. Good price. (1277 views)
Tasted by ChopperWine on 5/30/2020 & rated 88 points: Lite (950 views)
Tasted by daved on 2/29/2020 & rated 92 points: Friends in from Chicago, they say they don't like rose- I guess they liked both bottles.

Great beach wine (1555 views)
Tasted by daved on 10/25/2019 & rated 92 points: Beautiful balance of fruit and acidity. Sensational QPR (1343 views)

Rosé - Wikipedia

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
