Grapefruit, subtle pyrazines, flower honey, gentle and rounded palate, but it never loses that sense of hardness on the finish. Almost two years since my previous note, when the wine was still quite structured and a bit hard even. It has softened considerably, and it is now honeyed and silky, elegant and flowing, ripe but fresh, seamless and harmonious, with intricate flavours of citrus and orchard fruit and a whiff of pyrazine, but in the final analysis there still is something green on the finish. It's ready to drink, it will last, but I doubt that it will get any better.
